persnally i dont think its the rapz or what they saying, i think its how much time and money you put into it. Most cd's i've heard sound like shit because they dont mixx they music down.

#1 BUY QUALITY BEATS. When you have a quality beat. (in the $100-500 range) it will encourage you to bust harder on the mic, and most likely give you more creativity and better shit to write about. If you keep using free beats that some 14 yr old made. You gone keep writing about the same boring shit you always do.

#2 MIX YOUR VOCALS DOWN - Stop using the rough draft fresh out the booth. I gotta have it on CD right now!!! bruh go back and fix the levels, add the EQ's, delays, reverbs. Make your shit stand out.

#3 TRACK OUT THE BEATS How you supposed to make you shit slap right and have the beat tingling if you aint trackin out the beats. Other wise 9 times outta 10 your beats are gonna have WAY TO MUCH BASS. and make everything sound muffled.

#4 MASTER YOUR CD. for about $300 Trust me, this makes a shit load of difference.

#5 HIT ME FOR A CD COVER. Dont embarrass yourself and wonder why nobody wants to buy your gay ass looking cd. Cause they cover look phony and fake as fuck.

These are the basic fundamentals to recording a decent album. Why even try to be a rapper if your gonna be a half ass one. Your just wasting your time IF YOU SELL YOURSELF CHEAP.

This.............and if you aint got enough money, you should try to find someone that can make your tracks sound better than what you started out with.

yeah,that song is sick.
absolutely forgot about it, i haven't heard that song in years. another one that was tight too was "can u handle this" off the northern ghetto boys album with dyno. also, can't forget about "what u say"; he goes off on this track.

it takes someone who goin somewhere, like A-Wax with Konvict, if he has tracks that get air time now people gonna buy his cd's and if A-Wax has features like the underground genres like Big Tone/Davina/Shadow/BDawg/Lil Raider.... they will i think get heard and people will download the stuff and play it and want to know more. thats how i heard Woodie and got to Big Tone off NE5. Heard That Good Life and i knew that he was gonna be solid, got a lot of talent. its gonna be some time but some will take off if they keep doin it.

Big Tone I'd say is number 1 in the Norte Rap but its been hard for me to get into a lot of the other stuff pretty much cuz its flooded with same shit if you know what i mean. I play Big Tone for my friends and my friends all dig it cept for couple and i listen to what they like its that danceable commercial crap you hear on the radio all day on repeat, no talent at all but its what the bitchez will buy like someone said!
