"Nobody can get a shot off in .4 seconds" That argument still remains. Regardless or not if the Lakers should have had .8 or .4, it is not possible to catch, turn and shoot in .4. BTW, the NBA rule is .3 is the minimum for a tip in. .4 is impossible. Maybe if he caught it in the air, facing towards the hoop, but not turned around.

watch the fucking replay. Before u say im hating. Even in game speed u can clearly see fisher catchs then jumps and then finally they start the clock. Your right u cant do that shot in .4seconds but when they dont start the clock till half a second is already gone by u can. So really its like they gave the lakers .9 or a full second to complete that play. And of course the league isnt gonna do anything to upset the lakers. They want fucking tv rating and if they know if the spurs beat the lakers there gonna go to the finals and that means a huge ratings drop. Duncan was coming into the lane and fisher stepped in front of him and before duncan even made contact with fisher, fisher started falling down on purpose and then they call a charge. The spurs are defending world champions and had home court advantage and they still dont get the calls. They say u get favorable refs at home which is utter bullshit if your playing the lakers cause the league and the commish stern wants the lakers to win because of the ratings.

i just saw the shot on ESPN classic, they replayed the game in its entirety.
and yea, that clock WAS started on time. The reason it didnt turn to .3 seconds right when he caught the ball is because a full .4 seconds was on the clock, and 1 tenth has to go by before it changes.
