about the clock not starting on time...it wouldnt be the first time the refs handed the lakers a series win, anybody remember sac vs LA 2002 when the lakers were pretty much handed the title, i as well as everyone else knows that new jersey did not stand a chance against anybody coming out o the west.

as for the overall series...since game 3 i thought the lakers were going to win the series, i mean damn theres like 10 seconds left on the shot clock and i see spurs takin erratic shots that you know arent going in, and ive seen them shooting 3s at will when none are going in, i hate the lakers buit the spurs are playing like shit and deserve to loose.

Just for the record, I hate the spurs and the lakers equally. I don't really give a shit who wins. If it was Duncan who shot the ball with .4 seconds, the thread would have remained exactly the same.

As far as the lakers being handed games...I agree 100%. Not only was the Sac/lakers shit complete b.s., does anyone remember the Portland/lakers bullshit a few years back?!?!? Game 7, 4th quarter- portland up by 20 something points?!?! "foul" "foul" "foul" "foul" "foul" "foul" "foul" "foul" "foul" "foul" "foul" "foul" FAKE!

Do I smell a hater? Those are the NBA rules. If it was Tony Parker you wouldn't be complaining.

You little whinny bitches should blame San Antonio for even letting the shot get off, stop crying

2-0-Sixx, not to judge your knowledge on the sport, but for a while there was contreversy over how long it takes to get off a shot. There was a time when people would hit a shot with .2 seconds left, but the leage came to their senses and implemented a rule that if there is less then X amount of time (I actually think it is .4) then the game is called. I understand that they didn't start the clock precisley when he got the ball, I know this might be true, but history will prove that this is the case with plenty of games with all different teams when sinking the winning shot. I am one of the biggest Laker fans you will see, and I will tell you there was some fishy smelling shit during the Portland and Sacramento series', but the bottom line is, according to the league rules, it is possible to get off a shot.

I didn't get to see the game, I have to go off highlights, but from what people told me, it was off the hook. The Lakers were up by 16 anyway... askG is right, the Spurs arn't playing like they want to win.

Portland, yes. Sacramento, yeah. This game? Nah mayn.

Just to bring up a point. If you watch the Duncan shot again, you will actually notice that the shot went in with about .6 seconds left, not .4. There is always a human error involved sports. The strike zone, referees calling penalities (especially in the Ohio State vs. Miami game a year and a half ago), and the starting the clock in the NBA. It's just part of the game.

Lakers are handed wins.
So are a lot of other teams.

Sports are fixed...I'm sure you have figured that out.

That's why I am a major MMA, Prde, UFC, and Boxing fan. If it doesn't come down to the judges decision..it is very difficult to fix.

Think about it, if u had the option to make millions and millions more...you would "fix" it also.

Oh yeah..and sports are fixed.
