For the 11th consecutive year, there will be no Warrior in the All-Star game. Of the 16 teams currently in playoff position, only one is without an All-Star representative: the Warriors.

the point was he has about half the month of february off anyway. playing 15-20 minutes in the all-star game wouldn't have made him any more susceptible to an injury than anyone else.

besides, the all-star game is like a pickup game anyway (without the roughness lol)

OK well lets just have a 25 man roster and we can have them play 35 minute quarters to make sure that nobody is mad at anything ever! Jesus fuckin Christ NOT EVERYBODY CAN MAKE THE TEAM WHETHER THEY DESERVE IT OR NOT!!! FUCK. THATS THE WHOLE POINT I WAS MAKING. somebody has to be left out. it sucks when its your guy from your team but who gives a fuck? the all star game is dumb anyway. Yea, my guy made it this year, so what? The game is pointless and really not all that entertaining anyway. Roy made it and thats cool and everything. I'm glad he is held in high regard by the league but I'm not gonna bitch and moan about it if he gets snubbed either. Whats the big fuckin problem? You want your guy to be slightly better the next time Live and NBA2K comes out? Get it together god damn!

if david west took out his teammate i'm pretty sure it would be obvious it was intentional...in which case, david west would be punished therefore making the hornets worse which i dont think byron scott would want.

that's not the point...it's not only the game, it's the travelling, the partying, and everything else that goes with All Star weekend...there's also a difference between 5 straight days off and a month with games mostly at home. you give your body a better chance to recover. And anytime Baron plays, he's more susceptible to getting hurt than a lot of other players because of his injury history.

I would have enjoyed seeing him part of the team, but him playing witha chip on his shoulder and the Warriors being successful in the 2nd half means more.

Roy is a great young player and he will most likely have more allstar games to come in the future.. Baron though is having a better season.. the numbers speak for themselves... Portland has done great things this season and kind of unexpectedly.. and after they went on that big win streak and have continued to win Roy arguably is deserving of the spot. Either way it goes someone will always get left out that deserves to go. Hopefully Baron does play with a chip on his shoulder.. I know when we play portland again thats gonna be a great PG matchup and both players will have a lot to prove.

lol yeah because those all-star shootarounds and practices are sooooooo strenuous. jesus you guys act like baron davis is made of glass. yeah he's been more injury prone over his career but come on...
