I am juiced we got Bryant Johnson. I wanted us to sign him bad, especially after not swoopin Berrian(not that I wanted us to pay the amount he got, or even close to that). But I think Bryant Johnson was the way better option, especially financially. The details of the contract haven't been released, but it can't be to high if he only signed a 1 year deal. Obviously the market wasn't big for him and he wants to use this year to prove himself. Also I know D.Jack sucked big time last year. And no one knows that more than me, especially when I kept starting him in Fantasy Football. And telling myself, "This is the week he breaks out, or at least does decent." But that never happened once. Anyhow the 49ers staff must have really thought he sucked and couldn't step back up. Because they kept Lelie who they straight had ridin the pine last year. I hope they at least give him a shot for some PT after bouncin D.Jack.

Oh yeah and I love the possibility of swoopin Spikes, which sounds like a done deal according to Maiocco. I am pissed about losing Douglas. I don't know why the 9ers didn't make any effot to grab him, I'm not sure how much he waned, but originally I saw he wanted only around 10 mill guarenteed. That's not bad considering he had identical stats to Justin Smith who doubled that contract. I know stats aren't everything, but they mean somethin. Anyhow I if we gain Spikes that'll make up for losin Douglas in my mind. Cuze Smith was a lost cause and gone in my mind with all them missed tackles.

^^^I heard Nolan/Spikes had a scheduled dinner tonight and he had no other visits...The only thing holding up the signing would be if he didnt pass his pysical...

Somewhere like a month ago, I said I wouldn't want the 9ers to draft Desean Jackson since all we had were some skinny ass receivers, and Battle, at the time. lol.

I take that back with the signing of Bryant Johnson & the release of DJack.

And Jesus Christ, I hope Martz utilizes Mr. Click Clack the right way this year. Vernon Davis should be getting hella passes thrown his way each game.
