^^was just about to post that...looks like a pretty tough schedule
we have the 5th weakest schedule in the league, the rest of the division has a slightly weaker schedule going by last season win percents. cards have the easiest, rams are right above them.

49ers agreed to terms with OLB Travis LaBoy on a one-year, $1.6 million contract.
The injury-plagued LaBoy tore his biceps in 2008 and missed all of last season when the Cardinals cut him after a serious ankle surgery. A skilled pass rusher, LaBoy will help the Niners in situational packages if he can manage to stay off the shelf this year. Manny Lawson's long-term future with the team remains up in the air.

LaBoy went to Marin Catholic high school, here in the bay area, close to where i am.

this guy was a good pure pass rusher as a titan....he never had a significant role because of his injury problems

lol at....NICE!!! The San Francisco 49ers, on the other hand, will make so many national television appearances in the 2010 NFL season that even the Los Angeles Lakers will complain that this team is on tv too much.
LMAO....
The good news for Oakland Raiders fans is that this year, the Raiders won't ever be getting blown out before a national television audience.

49ers beat reporter Matt Maiocco passes along "word" that the Cowboys will consider a trade up to the No. 13 overall pick to draft Earl Thomas.
The Niners would be have to be willing to pass on a player that could upgrade their secondary to execute such a move. Thomas is unlike most of the top safeties in this draft in that he's a true center fielder with experience as both a slot and outside cover man. He'll interest San Francisco plenty.

Manny Lawson skipped the 49ers OTAs last month because he is seeking a contract extension.
Lawson is entering the final year of his rookie contract. He lost third-down duties to Ahmad Brooks last season, but still projects as a useful outside linebacker for the Niners. Still, he hasn't shown enough to be considered worthy of an extension.

The Niners see Karl Paymah as a nickel back, according to Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee.
Paymah is a liability in coverage and would be best used as a fourth corner and special teamer. The Niners could also use their first-round pick on a corner, pushing Paymah even further down the depth chart.
