Do some leg work ! your body tries to stay in proportion the biggest muscles on your body are your legs so if you put to much work in your chest (2nd biggest muscles) without adding leg mass your kinda working against your body structure so add legwork to your routine for faster strength gains

I feel you nitro, I just started going to gym regulary (3 weeks now) for the first time, and there's hella info on what to do, how to do it, what supps to take, it just gets overwhelming because everybody has their own opinions. It takes awhile to see what works out best for yourself, which I don't think I have yet. Right now I'm 5'9 160 lbs., and it sucks having to eat a lot of protein every day to put on weight - but if that's the only way I have to do it.
i ahve to take the prtoein drinks just to MAINTAIN weight....cuz of my stomach/digestive problems....

so true! ... muscle grows most efficiently when the entire body is being worked out. u can get bigger everywhere if you dont skip parts. skipping legs is one of the worst things u can do. plus people with a big upper body and chicken legs look fuckin retarded.

Well it's been almost three months since this thread and I have made great progress. I have gained about 7-8 pounds of muscle, and have been working out my legs extensively. I don't really fuck with dead lifts or power cleans, at least not right now. I place a lot of focus on squats because I have noticed most of the strain on my leg muscles coming from that area of my workout. I've been doing 5 excercises per muscle, 3 sets per excercise. I am comfortable with my regiment as it has produced great results.

I have organized my weekly workouts as so:

On a 4 day week, I do 1. Chest 2. Legs 3. Shoulders & Back 4. Biceps & Triceps. On a 5 day week I throw in a double of what I have already done, a part that I place emphasis on. Right now it is aimed at my chest so sometimes I do that twice a week. My friend is trying to get me to do chest, shoulders and back in the same day but it takes me atleast 1 hour on each of those groups and I'm not willing to cut any of them short.

At this present time I am still hitting the gym 4-5 times per week, but right now I am concerned with my weight. Like I mentioned before I have put on 7-8 pounds, but I am still looking to gain about 15 more. I want to do it all natural, protein is my only steroid. My diet consist of Tuna, Bowls of chilli beans, beef & chicken, pasta, all accompanied with milk.

Will carbs speed up this process? I know they help you lose weight, but I can't imagine eating bread all day and getting fat. I'm looking for all the nutrients that will help me bulk up, any advice is welcome.

I am not going to take any of the shit at GNC except for protein drinks after my workout.

Nitro...

You really only need to work out 3 days a week. 1 day on, 1 day off. An example would be Mon./Wed./Fri., and take the weekend off. You could do more, but I don't think it's necessary. I have seen tremendous gains with only doing 3 days. Not only with myself, but from others who follow the same routine.

The key is to work the body parts that go together. There is no need to do an hour on chest, an hour on shoulders, etc.

When you do chest, you are also working out your shoulders and triceps...so these should be worked out the same day.

When you do your back, you are also working out your biceps. These should be worked out together. You could also do some forearm excercises, but they get a pretty good workout anyway.

The legs, obviously, would have their own day.

If you have a good routine, each workout only takes an hour, maybe a little over...and you get great results.

If you want to gain more weight, you have eat, eat and eat some more. And that means carbs too. I'm tellin' you now, you're gonna have to get a little fat. You can't gain 15 pounds and have a six pack.

Whole eggs, bananas, cottage cheese (really good), whole wheat bread...are some other possibilities.

but I can't imagine eating bread all day and getting fat.
Just make sure that it is whole wheat bread. It should say Stone Ground or something similar. Look at the ingredients on the package. If it says "enriched" or "bleached", it's no good.

You should only take in a miminal amount of protein after your workout. Immediatley after your workout (as you are walking out of the gym), you should be taking in a mixture of complex and simple CARBOHYDRATES...about 100 grams. Then about half an hour later, have your protein shake.

If your skinny and tryin to get to beefcake status or trying to maximize your pussy getting potential I have a few alternatives to weight lifting.
If you want to be gangster start slammin dope, rob people and pack heat and start shit. When you catch a case make yourself a makeshift shank and get busy with that too.
And for the bitches just flash your bag of dope to then get them in private and toss them an outfit and after they fix they will fuck. Once you start bangin though bitches will swing anyway because there is a chemical miscommunication in females brains that mistake a chemical which is supposed to make them scared, turn sexually aroused meaning if you punk women into submission (mentally) they will put out. Maybe thats why punk rock bitches dont like nice guys? Anyway thats my advice.

alcohol contricts the blood vessels so blood to the mucles aren't carried to the mucles as easily plus alcohol fucks with the liver and the liver deals with mucle recovery , moderation is the key i know i could have alot more strength gains and mucle gains if i didnt get plasterd 3 days out of everyweek
