I think he was more just worried that he was going to be out for the finals. He said he heard a "pop" in his knee and that's enough to scare the shit out of anyone, let alone a dude in the finals that has carried a team on his back for a long ass minute.
i really dont see what the big deal was, he thought the injury was worse then it was. i dont even see how its embarrassing, they took every precaution necessary. Something that happens all the time in football.
The only thing embarassing about the situation is that so many people in the world of sports are making such a big deal out of the whole thing. Especially since they're questioning his toughness and saying this isn't the first time he's done this.
Fuck it though, I'm just glad he's going to be playing and helping Boston win their first championship in over 20 years.:knockout:
