N. Korea threatens war if U.S. pressure persists

Anyone know specific US counter measures against nuclear attacks? Surely they would have ships at sea to detect them and SAM sites around the coastlines?
I wonder what my country has too, I doubt we will be targeted though.
I have faith though in both our Countries counter measures, so I'm not too worried but would like to be reasured.
It would be something like "A nuke has been fired at the west coast of America..oh noez..but wait...It's big SHAQ jumping in the air.... REJECTED!!! NOT IN MY HOUSE!! GET THAT SHIT OUTTA HERE!!!"
However my country would be like "A nuke has been fired at the northcoast of Australia..oh noez..but wait....It's Luc Longley to the rescue...REEEEJ...SLAMS IT IN!!! HE's ON FIRE!! and so is the whole northcoast of Australia"

in islam i was told a story about this one prophet who drank an "instantly active" poison to prove to the people that Gods power is limitless.
He did preach that it wasnt he that kept himself alive but God.

So i was thinking on the way to work...and i figured what Heresy means...i THINK...
He is not saying his is invincible...he is saying that the power of "god" will steer him CLEAR of harm and death...so as to complete his "mission"
I didnt mean to jump down your throat Heresy...but when someone says they cant be touched...you know someoen is bound to test that theory....

Thats not how things work around here, and if people try to test it whatever they try to do to me will happen to them. Try squeeze 4 in my temple? The gun explodes in your face. Try to slip me some Jim Jones punch? You end up drinking it from your own water faucett.

China and Russia opposes a nuclear North. At least that's what I thought. China is pissed that they went ahead with the test. However they oppose "tough" sanctions on N.Korea. China is their strongest supporter in other areas though.
