he is definatley talented but the siccness is probably not his target audience,Its hard for me to classify his music.Remember divine styler in the 90s his first album was consciencious rap liked it( same type as def jef, sort of) I bought his second album and was speechless I would not know how to classify it, it was like he was overdosing on heroin then hitting the lab or something it didnt even sound like he was from this planet.
back to thr issue, i see al howard is a well rounded musician whose tastes know no boundries with some influences of rap/spoken word.
I might buy something of his but not at this time Im only 34 but i like the energy of most rap al howard i would need to mature more be more layed back, maybe its just not me.
yeah i know siccness defineitely isnt his target audience. thats why im trying to let ppl on here know about him. its just something different from all the stuff on here to try out. i know most ppl here wont get into it, but maybe one person will, and thats good enough

i was also just trying to make the point that al howard is true talent, not just some mediocre rapper trying to make money like alot of mcs are doing

but i hear what youre saying about not fully being able to get into him, thats why i suggested listening to some tracks before buying a cd. which by the way, did you just recently listen to those tracks i put up? or did you hear them the first time you saw the thread? makes me wonder how much ppl actually give it a listen

It is my opinion that alot of people might not listen, on this forum people look for affiliations with certain groups. My friend put a rapper on here with some songs and no one took notice, they aint realize he had done songs with jayo, rass kass, and others, but his name wasnt recognizable.Another thing is when people come only when its time to promote it turns others away, if they came more often and post out of respect people will take more notice
