Annnnnnnnnnnnnnd for Moss,

I would disagree that it is low risk, high reward. I would say that it is high risk, medium reward.

For years Moss was the best WR in the game and maybe the best player in the L for a little stretch. This will not be the Moss we will see. If he catches 40 balls for 600 yds I will be impressed.

The big risk is that with all Moss' clout he can really fuck up a young locker room quick. Especially when the QB is a passive, mediocre talent. Just when the Niners turn it around they add a guy that can literally tear a team apart. Also he brings tons of publicity and selfishness to a team that was notorious for being hard-nosed and blue collar.

Probably not a great fit but to be honest I like the move

Brandon Lloyd is an absolute G.

He has some of the dopest catches I've ever seen when he was in a niner uni. Lol I guess he had to make some crazy catches with Ken Dorsey and those clowns throwin passes

Did he even play last year? What makes people think 35 year old WR is just going to step in and "ball"? When was the last time Moss was even relevant in terms of production?

#49ers Frank Gore: "I'm excited about all the moves they made, especially keeping the defense the same. It was one of the best def last yr."

Gore: "Signing Randy Moss is really big for us. People have to respect him because of what he's done in this league as one of the best WR."

W/Moss, J @jbo nDavis85 to open field "should be easy on me," Gore said. "Coach Harbaugh and Trent Baalke, they have a great eye for talent."

#49ers Gore wants Alex Smith re-signed. "He went through a whole lot, man. I think Alex is going to take his game to a whole other level."

Just because he's 35 and missed an entire year doesn't mean he has lost his skills. It's the mental part of the game that the 49ers are worried about. Will he in the game mentally? The 49ers already know he can run and catch.

Did you see what happened to the NBA players and the lockout? Many players looked terrible, and it took them time to get back into rhythm. Football is not exempt from that. Missing an ENTIRE year of football can REALLY set a player back.

Moss wasn't very productive the 2 years leading up to his "retirement", and that was 3 years ago.

You're a Seahawks fan right? We'll see how he does against your squad then, it's bad enough safeties or linebackers can't cover VD. Now safeties have to worry about Moss too? Oh wait, according to you, more people than I think can cover Moss one on one.

We'll see what happens.

Pukus got a point but Im not gonna prop him cuz hes a punk ass blue bird fan, we need more WR's, the only thing Im a little worried about is that what we need him to do, run straight down the field to spread it out, is something he is notorious for not doing, ie him taking all those plays off in Minnesota back in the day, but either way im hella excited cuz hes a legend and now a 9er

Its a good pick up. He'll stretch the field and change the way other teams run coverage just by stepping foot on the turf, I think they still need to add another more viable WR, and Im gonna catch shit for it, but Alex Smith is still a weak point. He needs to do more if theyre gonna make it to the super bowl, period, and its unknown if he can do it. The problem is, as it looks to alot of people, is Alex has reached (or is very close too) hitting his ceiling, and Alex's ceiling isnt high enough to = a super bowl trophy.

Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnsons ceilings were though?
Thats apples to oranges. They werent on this 49ers team playing against these teams today. They were good enough in there own systems to win. If you ask me Alex isnt good enough in this system. This 49ers team needs Alex to score more in the red zone and not give up any turnovers, their defense is what makes this team point blank, he has proven he cant win with the team they had and doing what they did. Youre banking on someone who had 1 good season to do even better in a more complicated scheme with additional players, and now one that has a potentially huge attitude problem. What Im saying is, you need someone whos has potentially topped out to give even more.
