This will end the summer's batch, they'll be taking a little break, but they're not done with DLC yet, you can expect a few more characters, I think that they'll be adding Reiko, Tanya, Fujin and Frost to the roster.

Cyber-Smoke will only appear as an alternate costume for Human Smoke, no new moveset.

Ed Boons also said that DLC stages are very unlikely to happen.

those characters suck dick...DLC that i wont be buying those shits

i was expecting cyber smoke just because its easy for them to make with a pallete swap and maybe add some smoke effect around him ( maybe )

i would have been more happy with shang tsung MK2 and a few others...

stage DLC wont happen because NRS is fucking lazy....really fucking up the pit 2 with spikes...gay as fuck...i want concrete...and i want the original pit mk1

I'm not a fan of the characters from the 3D MK era, but NRS did a decent job with Kenshi, I wouldn't mind giving some of them a 2nd try. As long as Mokap and Hsu Hao don't return, I'm fine with it.

The only remaining characters from the original trilogy are Chameleon/Khameleon and Cyber-Smoke. They should also add Motaro as a sub-boss.

booooo that shit. reiko is cool.. but tanya? she was fun to play as in mk4/gold, but i really dont care about whats basically another color-swap of a character design that i've never been a huge fan fan of to begin with. of course i'll take her over skarlett anyday, though. fujin is another one whose character design i didnt really like, but they could probably give him some decent moves. frost is pointless as fuck.

& cyber smoke as nothing more than an alternate is weak. i want the grappling hook that comes out of the chest & the teleport uppercut, damnit.

they should have done bo rai cho & drahmin.

i dont think so..for me scorpion is the all around ninja...people that havent played MK since who knows when can pick him and know a move or two right of the jump....scorpion is and will always be MK's flagship character...
