funny how minorites are waking up. not depending on gov any more. realising that the liberals want a strong goveremnt that keeps mexicans especialy down and out. tells them that people owe them something that they have been hurt and had shit takin from them.

when the reality is. my folks said it best.

i was born in mexico. i came here when i was 7. nothing has ever been done to me or my children. we have a good life i went to college and ive had a great life.

the only thing i couldnt understand. is when i constantly heard in the poor area i lived in. that the gov. owed us something, and the fact that because of democrats i was in classes that were mainly spanish speaking and i wasnt learning english at the same level as others. same with my kids. even though english was there first languege the schools always felt they should be in spanish speaking classes seperating them from the rest of there peers based on a langue that they spoke.

alot of people feel there owed wel fair and food stamps that its all the republicans fault that there broke, something that was preeched through out my comunity, through the mexican comunity. when the reality is all you have to do is work hard and get some where. not depend on taking checks of other peoples money. not saying i cant.

just a different view. most fiends that are minorities now black mexican. they are starting to turn adn realise the onlything thats holding there people down. are the democrats. thats why so many mexicans voted for arnold including all my folks. same with all the black people i know. alot of my work voted for arnold. and my work is 70 percent mexican.

people are waking up. people like bustamante are going down. almost every mexican person ive talked to hates the fact that illegals can get license. they think its destructive to people comming legally like them. and dont like the fact that people are comming here illegaly and be rewarded for it. IE getting wel fair health care taking jobs. when this isnt even there country.

sorry to all you democrats but in cali. the minorities are being educated. there learning that the democratic bull shit that is being spreed. is just that bull shit.

my friend also wants to add.

that people like bustamante dont speak for his race. and dont speak for his race views. that he is his own person and can think for him self. he dosent need people like bustamante and others to tell him he cant, or hes oppresed, or that he needs help.

because he dosent.

dems not wanting non-whites in washington? thats funny.

that's why dems do more to promote equality of the races more than republicans. they also fund the programs that help minorities and inner city peoples that republicans want to cut.

noone ever said you were owed anything. but if republicans had their way, then if you did NEED anything, then you wouldn't be able to get anything.

they are not directing the programs at people because of race. and if it seems that is what is happening it is because a certain race of people is more likely to be the ones in need of certain entitlements.

they don't define shit based on race.... where does it say welfare, medicaid, after school programs are only for a particular race...

or PBS for that matter... that is something the Republicans have wanted to do away with for years.

Republicans of course don't make excuses to keep races down... the blatantly say they intend to keep races down.

how are you going to teach people to handle their own business? it seems you would need some kind of program for that... hmmm...

ok, taxes may be lowered considerably, but unemployment would jump..... and if you have high unemployment you have low gdp and gnp, which means recession.

yeah, i can see why you agree with him and his statement of them taking care of their "selfes""

i find it funny that the more educated you are the more likely you are to be a democrat and/or liberal.

what does that say about republicans?

how do you explain Affirmitive action then??

shep said:

they want to do away with it becauswe it is recieving TAX-PAYER MONEY and it is liberal propaganda, the conservatives have said if PBS would be fair and show both sides and hired some conservatives it would be OK because they are serving the entire public.

whan have they ever said anything like that??? i doubt you have facts for that, that is just you speaking from your liberal heart not from facts??

just in case you couldnt tell Bush41 nominated the only current minority the the SUpreme court, and Bush43 is the only President ever to nominate an african american (powell) to secretary of state and the only ever african american woman to national decurity advisor NSA (Dr. Rice).

but nevermind that tell me, show me some quotes where conservatives "blatantly say they intend to keep races down"

there are many dems who disagree with affirmative action, and many republicans who agree with it (or at least say they do). therefore you have no point.

yeah, big bird and barny and the guy that paints are liberal propoganda

where have republicans said anything to keep a race down? are you serious? how about the good ol' boys from the south voting against the civil rights movement, desegregation, and such. and i seem to remember a republican getting in trouble a couple years back for some racist comments he made.

so a republican put two african americans in high places... dems have helped millions of minorities more than republicans ever have.

which famous Senator recently called Janice Rogers Brown and Miguel Estrada neandrothals???

which is some backround infor on them, Mr. Estrada came to america around the age of 10 he only spoke spanish, his family came from Honduras legally. he leanred English went to Columbia and graduated magna cum laudde (SP) he then went to law school at Harvard and also graduated with honors magna cum laudde (SP). he was the editor of the Harvard Law Review. he because a successful lawyer, worked in the Soliciters Generals office under both Clinton and Bush. he argued 15 cases before the supreme court and won 12 of them, not many people get a chance in the whole lifetime to argue more than 1 case before the supreme court.

DOES HE SOUND LIKE A NEANDROTHAL???

now how about Janice Brown, i dont know as much about her but here is what i know, she is currently sitting on the California Supreme Court and recieved 76% of the vote (i believe she is the chief justice there also) from california voters. Mrs. Brown was born and raised in Alabama the daughter of a share-cropper. she moved to california as a single mother of two and put herself through school and worked herself up to the California Aupreme Court.

IS SHE A NEANDROTHAL???

Senator Ted Kennedy seems to think so as he called them that on the floor of the US Senate

bo back and look at the vting records of these guys. i suppose you are talking from teh 70's back, so again i will say go look at the voting record, Republicans are the ones that joined with LBJ to pass the civil rights laws. also who party has the only known KKK member in their party?? (hint: he i a liberal senator.)

who?????? who is it?????

again i will ask you a simple question, who was the last senator to use the word "nigger" on national tv??? (hint: he is the same one as i asked above^^)

in the long run what is going to help more a party that appeases people and gives them small shit, or a party that inspires ALL people to work hard and gives them BIG prizes.

will afrcian americans be inspired to make a differnce or work hard in this country from an african american joe blow in the street that got a hand out from the liberal party, or from Colin Powell, Secretary of State or Clarence Thomas, Supreme Court Justice??

Hillary Gives 'KKK' Byrd Freedom Award

In a little-noticed ceremony before she flew off to attend Iowa's Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner Saturday night, Sen. Hillary Clinton presented ex-Klansman-turned-Senator Robert Byrd with the Franklin Roosevelt Institute's Four Freedoms Award.

Addressing the crowd in Hyde Park, N.Y., Mrs. Clinton praised Byrd as a mentor, saying he provided a wonderful example for her.

"When I think of the Senate, I think of Robert Byrd," the former first lady said, according to an account in the Hyde Park Townsman.

It was during Roosevelt's third presidential term that Byrd joined the Klan, saying he wanted to fight communism. And though he left within a year, he continued to advise Klan leaders on how to expand the influence of the anti-black terror group.

In 1971, Byrd co-sponsored a measure to have the Senate's main office building named after Sen. Richard Russell, an unabashed white supremacist who led the fight against anti-lynching legislation in the Senate.

"He was kind of my mentor," Byrd said recently, noting that Sen. Russell was known as an expert on Senate rules, much like himself.

In 2001 Byrd was forced to apologize after he blurted out the "N"-word twice during a nationally televised interview.
