So since many of you come to the defense of Islam in this thread about how a small minority painting the rest in a bad light and it shouldn't really be an issue about building a masque near ground zero.

Now that's a good point but answer me this:

Were any of you defending police officers in the Oscar Grant thread?? Or any other police brutality thread for that matter? We know that it's just a small amount of cops that paint most in a bad light too right?

1) Yes

2) It is different because police by definition and in inherent purpose force me to be subjected by laws I don't believe in

The vid isn't up yet, but the people putting up the money for the Mosque hold the largest public share of Fox News, and the son of that same person won an auction for Colbert's painting, which was for a Yellow Ribbon charity.

I'll see if I can find the vid somewhere but the site usually has it the day after.
