My cousin got jumped by 5 of those Southside Nortenos all cause he tried to get his neighbors back who was supposedly a Norteno from the westside of modesto. The fucked up thing about it, was that neighbor ran into his house and was watching from his locked door. After about a few mins or so he comes out yelling, "leave him alone, hes had enough."

The fucked up thing was he took an asswhoopin in front of his kids. And every other day they would break house windows, and his cars....

Moral of the story, Motown homies dont give a fuck if you a homeboy from another region. You never see a homie riding solo they always deep....
small world, huh? i know your cuzzo and called this one before it happened.(i wont put his name out there but it starts with an O so you know i'm not just bullshitting) his neighbor was in on it, that's just me though(what i think). you cant go to the valley and talk about the bay being this and that. people all over dont play and dont like when cats try and talk that talk bullshit because of where you are from. you can get it anywhere.

i'm not saying for sure. but i personally witnessed his cuzzo talking shit about "squares out here" and this and that. his neighbor was right there and i was thinking man, if i was dude i would smash for that disrespect. maybee he knew he was drunk talking out his ass.if i would have been there i would have had to get jumped too because i wouldnt watch something like that go down. but his neighbor some how ran away and then comes out and says that's enough. sounded suspect to me when i heard about it, now it seems i may be right.

you cant go to people's city and think you are above it. sooner or later you will come across some riders that will take it there.

it is sucka shit. i agree 100%. but finding a fair fight these days is like finding $100 dollar bill on the ground. it does happen occasionally. that is why i mind mine nowadays because i know how quick a situation can get ugly over nothing.

i really dont know. his neighbor was a huero looking mexican dude. kinda little. not as short as O though if i remember correctly. i mean its one thing to jump him, but those cats went back busted out his windows, robbed his shit if i'm not mistaken. some people have no clue the real struggles of life and what raising a family is about. i couldnt condone that behavior from anyone. sometimes people never grow up but i'd be willing to bet the fools responsible were young 20 somethings if not younger. they have no respect nowadays. but you have to be aware of where you are at all times. maybee they were after his neighbor, but he didnt come across as trouble maker but who knows. you cant judge a book by its cover.

It's that attitude that a lot of foos from the Bay have (that they are better than us) that makes stupid drama escalate into shit like this. I remember once when I was living in the Deep somebody tagged up the mailbox by my house with "510" and "FUCK THE 209." The next day that shit was crossed out and "FUCK THE BAY" was tagged up on the biggest wall in the hood. This happened around the same time a few foos from the bay got served in the Southside. It's just stupid shit, but it happens. For the most part you don't see foos from the valley going to the bay and hating, but you get a lot of it the other way around.

not everybody has that attitude. i cant call that other stuff. but i will say that people move that way for things to get better, not worse. you got someone moving out there to raise a family, not trying to get into it with neighborhood kids over some nonsense. unfortunately, that is part of the game and knowing how to act is very important for out of towners to any neighborhood. i'm just speculating and really dont know if that's the case but got love for the valley regardless. dont trip. i dont know if that's what happened, but i know it happens.

Injunction against gang gets court OK

Authorities may begin enforcing a gang injunction against 10 members of the Deep South Side Norteños, a Stanislaus County Superior Court judge said Thursday, but two suspected gang members who are contesting the order have two months to mount a legal challenge.

Judge John G. Whiteside said any documented gang member who has been served with a copy of a restraining order may be punished for contempt of court if he violates any of 14 banned behaviors, including hanging out in public places, wearing red clothing or staying out after curfew.

The judge carved out a delay for defendants Armando Parra, 21, and David Tubera, 28, because they came to court to object.

Whiteside told the men they must hire a lawyer or do some legal research so they can represent themselves in a lawsuit brought by the district attorney's office, which is suing the gang under public nuisance laws.

Parra and Tubera said they are confused by the legal process.

"It's like I'm still going to be on parole after I'm supposed to be rehabilitated," said Parra, who has "Modesto" tattooed across his back, "209" tattooed on his abdomen and was convicted of shooting at an occupied vehicle in 2006.

He said he should be able to hang out wherever he pleases and wear whatever clothing he likes once he finishes his parole.

"I don't see how they got that," said Tubera, referring to a list of 20 gang members who are named in the injunction. He is a suspected drug dealer, has been convicted of burglary and numerous drug possession charges and has "DSSM" tattooed on his fingers, court records said. The gang is sometimes called Deep South Side Modesto, according to authorities.

The district attorney's office is expected to continue its efforts to give notice to the remaining eight gang members named in legal papers.

The judge told the men that they will suffer no consequences from the injunction, which bans visible gang activity in a 2½-square-mile "safety zone" south of the Tuolumne River and west of Crows Landing Road, if they keep away from other Norteños and avoid gang activities.

"Stay at home and mind your own business," Whiteside said, "and you're not going to have any problem."

Parra and Tubera declined further comment as they left the courthouse.

Whiteside granted a preliminary restraining order against 10 of the 20 men named in the injunction, leaving a temporary restraining order pending against Parra and Tubera.

The injunction could become permanent if the judge is convinced that the defendants have no legal grounds to challenge the order.

The judge said he will revisit the matter Sept. 10.

Prosecutors may add gang members to the injunction. Authorities said they have documented 51 Norteños with allegiances to the neighborhood; they believe the gang has more than 150 members and associates. Other gangs are not subject to the injunction.

District Attorney Birgit Fladager said her office now may go after any member of the Deep South Side Norteños, as long as the person is a documented gang member and receives legal notice about the injunction.

"They are all subject to it now," she said.

Undersheriff Bill Heyne said officers will not begin enforcing the injunction until they receive specialized training. He said community meetings are planned. "This is a tool for us that will help these people take back their neighborhood," Heyne said.
