Just played the demo.. Mets win Game 7, 7 to 1... But, I have to say it's a lotbetter than last years in the graphics department, but the gameplay is virtually exactly the same, and I like that.. It just plays a lot smoother, that's all.

I never had problems with glitches or anything like that for my MLB game, so I don't know the problem people had with it..

But I'll have to pick this up soon..

YOU SHOULD JUST STAY WITH MVP2005. 2K7 SUCKS, UNLESS YOU HAVE THE NEW GEN. SYSTEMS!!! THE DEVELOPERS BASICALLY GAVE US THE MIDDLE BIRDIE, AND SAY ENJOY THIS PIECE OF SHIT. JUST BUY A SHARKPORT, OR MAX DRIVE AND DOWNLOAD MVP BASEBALL 2005 ROSTER UPDATES, THAT'S IF YOU HAVE A PS2 OR X-BOX 1.

FUCK 2K, EXCEPT FOR THEIR BASKETBALL GAMES. WHAT A WAY TO GO. LAME!

You guys should read the review on this before you make teh purchase. Gamespot and IGN said some of the characters were batting BACKWARDS, said the catcher would hold the ball instead of tagging people out (they even show a video clip of this one), and said some of the players had 100 and 99 pts when they should have been at like 80. They said one of those cats that came off teh bench was at like 100 and some fool battin 200+ was @100! LMAO!

This game is GLITCHED the fuck out. I'm not playing a game where niggas is battin backwards!!!!

neither did I or any of my friends...last year's game was pretty good to me. Maybe everybody talkin about glitches is talkin about it on 360?

Imma check it out...hopefully its not too much like HERESY described it.

2K7 is the best baseball game I have ever played. I haven't seen any glitches for it at all, oody batting backwards or any of that weird shit.

Anybody talking down on this years version has not played it for themselves.
That's easy for you to say, if you take into account that some of us don't even have a new gen. system.

I'm talking down on this years version and I don't NEED to play it because I'm going by the reports given by REVIEWERS who get PAID TO PLAY. Do you get PAID TO PLAY? NO? So why should anyone consider YOUR opinion? However, IF I wanted to play the game I would do one of two things:

1. Go to the store and purchase it.

2. Download it, burn it, put it in my trusty PS2 slim mod and and play it.

Yo H, help a brother out with your system of free game "pilfering". Does it involve money, or just knowing what to download. HELP ME! I'm tired of being a subject, especially after watching that video of money masters!!!!

I have been a game tester in the past, and worked for Visual Concepts during the testing of ESPN NFL Football. I am attending school right now to go back into the field. I think that alone gives my opinion more weight than yours. Furthermore, I have actually played the game, and do not base my purchases on the opinion of others.

It involves modding your ps2, using swap disk or hd loader. $30-$80 bucks total depending on what exactly you want your machine to do.

After that the rest is easy. :) PM for more details.

But you aren't testing NOW and you haven't tested this game for glitches.

I am attending school right now to go back into the field.
Thats great I hope it pans out for you.

think that alone gives my opinion more weight than yours.
My opinion is based on those who are currently IN THE FIELD and not going back to school in hopes of getting back in the field. IGN and Gamespot = Sites that actually attend the CES, get games before ANY of us, get PAID to test, get PAID to review, etc. I would think that alone gives my opinion (which is actually there opinion based on EXPERIENCE) more weight than yours. :dead:

Furthermore, I have actually played the game, and do not base my purchases on the opinion of others.
Furthermore, I'll be playing the game in exactly....hmmmmmm....one hour? And unlike you I DO base my purchases on the opinions of others. In my line of work doing so saves me a lot of money and time. Do you think I would just go out and buy a $2000 interface or pre amp without reading the opinions of professionals involved in the business?

A $2,000 interface or pre amp is a lot different than a $60 video game.

As a former tester, I have an eye for bugs and glitches, I spot them very easily, I have not personally seen any serious glitches in MLB, but I have not played the PS2 version, which seems to be the version you are talking about.

Not trying to get into a huge debate with you, H. I'll just say that the best way to ell if you are going to like a game is by playing it, not reading about how someone else played it.

Listen, I'm not trying to get into a debate with you either, but when stores have return policies that prohibit you from returning a game once it is opened you had better pay attention to the reviews or else you'll end up stuck with a game you don't enjoy.

Again, I haven't played the game, but as soon as I burn it to dvd using this trusty lite-on burner I will. However, as I said before, I'm going by the reviews given by the people paid to give reviews and they are on the money 9 times out of ten.
