has it been confirmed the cop was even white? he sorta looks white but you can't tell plus his name is "Johan" or some shit...
and i've been fucked with by cops of every race...the most dickhead unprofessional and gestapo ass cop that ever fucked with me was actually mexican (motherfucker followed me around for 45 minutes on a friday night everywhere I went even 7-11 and shit til he found a BS reason to pull me over, he ended up having to go home empty handed whomp whomp whomp...sucks for him)
remember that we as humans are fallible, and that transfers over to humans as cops. emotions, prejudice, and the like are all blanketed over whoever they see fit.

If so, then it's good to see that you've grown to be more sensitive torwards race issues...
I do agree that the lyrical homage payed to Askari X may have been a bit much... but I feel that a majority of my white peoples would not find it to be offensive - as not all white folks are 'peckerwoods'...
Similar to the term 'redneck' or 'hick' - the word seems to be attributed to a specific group of folks who exist within that ethnic community...
But either way, I would have reframed from using that term if I was the one making the song...

i hope this cop goes to prison. good on fab for going out there and taking part in the march and making this track. although its out of frustration but saying peckerwoods and shit is just perpetuating racism and shouldnt be the message to push--try truly to unite instead of pushing racial remarks that just divide further.

Let me say I have witnessed BLACK cops many of times harass BLACK kids just because they are BLACK...this self hatred is still a form of racism. Regardless of what color the cop was they are still run by the "white" power establishment and when police brutality happens it brings those underlying tensions between the white power structure and young men of color and/or particular class (best believe i've seen some young white men get harassed just because of the fact they grew up in east oakland, west oakland , ect.). Again he was not trying to spark additional tension but just talking about something that already exists.
