And plenty of things I've said in here got you worked up enough to post about them... So... What exactly is your point? Lmao... Shit is still dumb and unfunny

And I'm not a 90s baby, and I don't wear skinny jeans

i can see why people feel that lebron will never be an elite player. i just don't agree with it. but i can see the truth in that perspective.

Kobe has never won a ring without playing next to the guy considered to be the best big man in basketball
Now Gasol is the best big man in basketball? Hahaha!! The funny thing about this is not that I may or may not disagree, but that he wasn't even considered to be in the top 5 at his position (let alone w/ the inclusion of all centers in the league) before he came and played with kobe. You're actually paying a great deal of credit to Kobe with your comment.

he can be elite. he will never be one of the greatest though. big difference. john stockton was elite but hes not top 5. lebron had a chance to be 1b to jordans 1a and he has completely eliminated himself from the top 5 by far. he will never sniff the top 5. ever. sorry.

of course he'll be in the hall of fame. he'll be one of the best players all time. but he will never be in that elite echelon. he locked himself out. like it or not. nothing he can do will put him on jordan magic or bird level. ever.
OK, so in your own words you acknowledge that he'll be in the Hall and that he'll be one of the greatest to ever play...but not "elite"? WTF??? I thought that was what the "Hall of Fame" was for..."elite echelon" players. You unknowingly contradicted yourself right there. It doesn't make any logical sense. Your words and feelings are fueled by your personal hate of LBJ. His combined career STATS and NBA accolades is what will count. This goes for ANY player. Bird, Jordan, Magic, Kobe, ect. are all there cause of stats and their overall contribution to the game. HIV, gambling addictions, rape allegations, defections from the NBA to play baseball...are all extreme issues that plagued the "greats" and will not keep "them" off the "elite" list and this Lebron issue PALES in comparison. The masses wont give a shit about this issue down the road believe this.

youre talking about off court problems. what a douche. there are a shit load of players in the hall of fame but there are different levels. you missed the part where i said he could have been 1b to jordans 1a. reading is fundamental.

I don't know why I'm debatin with this fool Phil who is obviously a dumb ass. Somewhere in his twisted 'lil world he anointed himself the guru of basketball and knower of all things. If HE writes it, it is law. LMBAO!!! Phil must be trying to get into the "Elite Echelon" for sensitive wanna-be sports analysts. it's hilarious seeing him break down the Hall of Fame and it's many levels...(Jordan's 1a and 1b bullshit rhetoric) LOL! OK dude...he's in Miami now. Get over it.

It's probably been said in this thread somewhere, but you're a cotton pickin moron if you're trying to compare the MJ, Magic and Bird era to now.

People need to stop projecting their expectations on to these athletes as if it's the athletes expectations.

Regardless of what's going on now, if the Heat go on to win 7 straight championships, Lebron will be looked at as a GENIUS when it's all said and done. Shrewd move by LBJ imo

I shoulda put it in quotation marks. I don't personally think he's the best big in basketball, but you wont have to look too hard to find a lot of people who think he is. Shit, most of the announcers throughout the playoffs were calling him the best big in the nba.

HE IS ONE OF THE BEST AS OF RIGHT NOW.. TO ME HE'S BETTER THEN HOWARD CAUSE HE CAN MOVE AROUND AND DOESN'T HAVE ONE MOVE. THE ONLY THING GASOL DOESN'T HAVE IS THE BODY MASS COMPARED TO THE OTHER BIG MEN IN THE LEAGUE BUT WHEN WIT COMES TO PLAYING BALL HE'S THE BETTER PLAYER
