wow this is the most bullshit spinster crap ive seen all night.

Anonymous "Won" against the cartel? do you guys choose to be this ignorant or is it a gift? a person posts one link with enough spin to throw earth out of orbit and you guys gobble it up like fat ducks with feeding tubes shoved down your gullets

the cartel threatened to kill ten people for every name that was released by anonymous; anonymous realized the stakes were too high and they didnt want innocent people dead, and they backed off. the releasing of the kidnapped person was completely unrelated to the threats

http://www.thinq.co.uk/2011/11/10/mexican-blogger-beheaded-anonymous-feud-drug-cartel/
in fact, theyve tracked down the leader of the so called 'anonymous movement', Barrett Brown, and dude is running scared for his life and is going into complete hiding.

you guys think these cartel guys are just idiots who dont know anything about the net and only know drugs, money, or killing? these people are a lot smarter than you and me, and their resourcefulness is unlimited

lol @ thinking some fuckin neckbeards are going to take down a murderous, deeply entrenched and sympathized with multi-billion dollar organization with military special forces roots. i guess you guys arent going to get the point until these neckbeards start getting kidnapped from deep inside the united states while hiding, and get their heads sawn off on video for the world to see

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition! The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.

LMAO @ those who actually thought that a computer hacking skill could fight against special force military trained soldiers of organized crime with ties to both the US and Mexican government. These cartels don't play around and again people fail to look at the big picture and under estimate a group of people without knowing anything about them other than what they see on television. ORGANIZED CRIME describes the Cartel pretty well, they are organized they are powerful they have control they have muscle and fire power they generate billions and they are deep.Mafia doesn't come close to a Cartel. Cartel is pretty much the dark side of a government and they are ruthless when fucked with....They are Legion,They do not Forgive they do not Forget.

Legalize drugs in the US = no more cartels
Everyone knows that will never ever happen because it wouldn't benefit the people in charge of the USA. Even if it did happen, the cartels won't stop operating their are many other ways of income many people in this day and age are not aware of. There is always something illegal that can be profitable.

correct me if im wrong but dont the cartels make the bigger chunk of their income from weed distribution to the U.S.? the government knows whats up, they have their hand in it as well. if you legalize weed thats going to hurt the cartels, and the cartels arent going to find a new way to make up the money, theyre going to start a blood bath. the united states doesnt want a full scale civil war / massacre breaking out in mexico cause its so close.... and they have all those big guns that we sold them. doubt they want it spilling over the border

the mexican cartels have the mexican government held hostage, and by proxy, us as well. the united states government will never admit publicly that our drug policies are influenced by foreign and domestic terrorism

SO, whats your deal? All you have done so far is basically pimp the cartel as the all knowing, all being entity in the universe that will rule with the hand of Zeus. We get it. You love them. Maybe you are apart of them. But try to be objective here just a bit.

I get what you are trying to convey, but the further we barrel towards technology, the more dangerous things like Anonymous get. Why you are comparing guns and muscle to how the WORLD is connected and run is asinine. When everything is more or less controlled and manipulated by computer technology, the more and more hacker groups will begin to have the upper hand. Bank accounts can be hacked, information can be leaked...Hell, nuclear missile campaigns can be controlled. This is the world we live in. The cartels arent stupid obviously...they know this and if you think for one second that this doesn't concern them, then you off your rocker. The mere fact that left that threat is a sign that they are concerned. They realize what is at stake here.

So, no, there was not necessarily a "win" by anonymous, but what they did they was show their balls and zetas responded accordingly. They COULD HAVE killed dude...but they didn't. How often does that happen? I can answer that for you. Never. That speaks VOLUMES whether you want to admit it or not.

And i dont anyone is denying that cartels have government influence. The "war on drugs" campaign here in the US has been a joke since day one. Illegal drugs are a HUGE commodity in the US...billions of dollars type commodity. They put on a dog and pony show by busting a "big baller" every now and again to make it look like they are trying. Like the saying goes "you never see the black man fly the plane", yet they are the only ones you see on the news in handcuffs. Baffling.

The world is FUCKED UP beyond belief. Almost to the point that there is NO RETURN. Human nature has been twisted and morphed...and in some cases used against us by our own government. The solution really, at this point, is blow it all up and start from scratch.

What is more profitable than drug trafficking? You think they gonna start breeding people to sell their organs all of a sudden or something?

Also, i doubt the cartels like you spouting all this "knowledge" about them on the net, i'd be careful if i were you, you never know who's reading, i been to Cancun last Juli and seen some shit that'd give you your kids and your grandchildren nightmares, be easy man.

The way i see it is that the entire American South is a huge drug oven whose sole function is to "provide" the rich USA with their no.1 need. For them, selling drugs to the US is the most profitable business/easiest way to make a lot of money in a short amount of time. Entire populations are inviolved in the production and trafficking, but only few really benefit from it. If these countries (reaching from Paraguay up to the US border) weren't predominantly occupied with producing drugs they wouldn't be so poorly developed.

i know youre talking to the cartel character dude but i wanted to jump in here. ive looked at it objectively myself and i personally view "Anonymous" and all this "Hacktivism" as false hope. the internet is on the verge of being completely censored, and sociopathic and psychopathic corporate interests control the government and our laws. its nice to grasp onto some kind of hope; and thats all this hacktivism shit is. its a warming ideal to try and grasp onto to give ourselves some kinda false hope; some superman group of people is going to save the day eventually, if we just keep on living how we're doing and being good little people, some heroes will come and save the day for us. its flat out ridiculous to believe. bottom line "anonymous" originated on 4chan, they dont have users names there, every single person by default posts as 'anonymous'. it has nothing to do with anonymity, and to cut to the chase, these hacktivists dont want it with the cartel. what the fuck are they going to do, release the names of all the corrupt officials working with the cartels in mexico which will lead to the full scale annihilation of untold innocents?

but there is hope, you dont just blow it up and start over. people power and all that hippy shit. rebuild our laws from the ground up
