^And??

it's because the Lakers are THE most storied b-ball franchise. Right there with the Celts.

Also, Warriors fans have no room to criticize people for being "bandwagon" fans. If you guys didn't make that run in the playoffs, your stands would be more empty and tickets would be cheaper. Real talk.

Lakers seats are always filled.

Besides, youre talking to the wrong guy about bandwagon. I've been a fan for 25+ years. I was old enough to actually see Magic win his first title. And then the rest.

Real talk, Warriors fans been going to games even when the team was horrible. More empty? If the lakers were 8-22, there stands would be more empty too. Are all the Boston fans bandwagon fans because they have more fans at the games this year then last year?

Real Bandwagon fans boo their best player on opening night and then chant MVP when he goes to the line 20 games later. Thats what you call bandwagon fans.

Your first paragraph speaks to bandwagon fans. Fact is, everyone has them. Big, popular franchises just have more. I really don't care to argue about them, it's just dude that I quoted makes it seem like the Lakers are somehow less because they have bandwagon fans.

Your second paragraph does not speak to the definition of what a bandwagon fan is. You're just trying to make a point by stretching the definition. It's not correct.

You would have booed Baron had he come out and said the rest of the team is wack. If you were a fan of your team and not a player, that is.

Those people booing are Laker fans, not just Kobe fans. I would expect you to know the difference.

EDIT: And, according to this site: LINK

...you're wrong. Average attendance in 2001 was less than 14K, whereas now it's close 19K. Would you say 5000 more in an arena that holds close to 20K is a difference? I would.

And I can also pull up the article that says t=the main reason for any increases was that you guys had the CHEAPEST tickets in the league.

Cheap motherfuckers.

Winning championships like Lakers have, is going to bring them more bandwagon fans. Thats a given, he's just trying to hate on the lakers and whats the throw that in there.

If a player stated the truth and he was correct on what he was saying, he would not get booed. There's only one player in the NBA that would do what Kobe did.

So the Laker fans are booing but the Kobe fans are the ones chanting MVP?

Whats the attendance for 21-61 teams? I doubt any team with 21 wins is going to be pulling in 20,000.

And good job on the bringing up the attendance from the worst warriors season in the last 8 years.......

Uh no, he's changed his tune since the beginning of the season. I don't blame you for not following the Lakers or listening to his latest interview on the Dan Patrick show, you're not a fan.

Besides, everyone knows he's the best player in the league.

Kobe never should said shit in the first place. He's screwed the Lakers up more then he should be allowed to.

Im not a fan of the Lakers, so your right I dont follow them. Just as a I expect that you dont follow the Warriors.

Yes, he's the best player but what does that have to do with anything?

Kobe should know his role, he is a basketball player. Nothing else.

Shaq being traded, Phil leaving and then coming back. Trying to force the front office to trade Bynum. Getting Kidd helps Kobe and not the Lakers in the long run.

He really didn't fuck up the team, seeing as weve got a lot of the same players, but somehow they seem to be playing waaay better ball.

The 'best player' shit, guess my point is that they are going to end up rooting for him anyways. Kinda weak support for that point, but I think you get what I'm saying.

I've seen all the games that have been televised, and they really only booed him the first game.

He really didnt fuck up the team but more or less he's brought unneeded attention for all the drama he been causing.

The colorado thing, telling the clippers he might sign with them if they played closer to his house.

It seems that Kobe really like attention, negitive or positive.

I get what your saying with the best player and I agree, I was just wondering why you brought that up.

Agreed to the above points for sure. He comes with a lot of drama.

Believe me, I was hella pissed before the season started and he began to change his tune.

LOL. Real talk.

No Bynum, we played probably the worst game of the season, and it was still down to the wire.

On a side note...I'll give a hundred to the first person that snipes Kwame.
