So if you're thinking it would sell more PPVs as a UFC fight vs a boxing fight, even if that were true which is debatable, they wouldn't be able to pay him $75-$100+ million or whatever the crazy bare minimum required would be.
That was my only comment, not the actual structure of the deal. Like you said, the UFC or any MMA promotion wouldn't put up that kind of money. I really have no clue who is putting up the money for this event but I believe if they are really paying Floyd 100M then they are taking a huge risk thinking they are going to get their money back on this.
I believe the typical boxing fan that usually pays for PPVs wont be paying for this one. Maybe the MMA fans crossing over temporarily will balance it out.
Let's see how ticket sales go. I am not so sure that the gate money will be up there either.
I am sure they will do well in the bar, pub scene though...
