I hope it's a great fight...it has the potential to be, buuuuuuuut...if Floyd dances all night like he did on the show, and Ricky tries to hug him to death, I just might vomit.

PLEASE BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF EACH OTHER, BOYS...SOMEONE GET KNOCKED OUT.

We, as boxing fans, deserve it.

Yeah if Mayweather is smart, he will try and put on a show, Gatti style. Because if he wins another big fight like he did against Baldomir, people are going to lose interest quick. I mean he will still be considered the best, but he wont draw in nearly as much money

Yep...despite him being undefeated, and the pound for pound best in many people's eyes, I think he still has something to prove. He hasn't looked like a great, dominant champ in his biggest fights, although he got the W.

Does anybody know what time and what location the weigh-ins will be held? Will it be open to the public? I'm gonna be in Vegas that Fri and Sat. Is there anywhere on the strip to watch the fight? Do restaurants/bars show it? Can u order the fight in your hotel room?

Mayweather talks tough, Hatton counters in title fight hype

LAS VEGAS, United States (AFP) — Undefeated welterweights Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather arrived here Tuesday ahead of their weekend championship showdown with the Englishman brushing off Mayweather's trademark trash talk.

US veteran Mayweather, 38-0 with 24 knockouts, defends his World Boxing Council crown Saturday against Hatton, 43-0 with 31 knockouts, in a clash of styles - the flashy "Pretty Boy Floyd" and the blue-collar "Hitman".

"The fight won't go the distance. I can promise you that," Mayweather said. "Ricky Hatton has never faced anyone with any talent like I have.

"All the British fans coming to the fight are going to have the chance to be part of the Floyd Mayweather experience."

Hatton told a cheering throng of British supporters to "come and watch me take the belt from this clown."

"A lot can be said before the fight and he has been saying all kinds of things, but all he's doing is lying to the papers," Hatton said. "He seems like a confident man, but I think he's a bit insecure.

"He calls me all kinds of names - Ricky Fatton. He says that I only fight the 'has beens'. None of that stuff matters to me. He's training as hard as ever and he's in great shape but I don't think he thinks I'm as good as I am."

"I've never seen one fight where Floyd has taken the bull by the horns and gone after him and that's what he's got to do on Saturday."

Mayweather countered by saying, "In front of the cameras he's really acting up. You know what I call him - a camera gangster.

"All my other opponents said they were going to beat me too and I'm still undefeated."

Mayweather has not won by knockout in more than two years. He won decisions over Zab Judah and Carlos Baldomir last year and a split decision over Oscar de la Hoya last May.

"Oscar died in the last six rounds of the fight and Mayweather only won that fight by the skin of his teeth because of that," Hatton said.

Mayweather could take home more than 20 million dollars from the showdown with strong pay-per-view sales, potentially becoming the first fighter with 4 million pay-per-view purchases in one year after a record 2.5 million for the de la Hoya bout.

That could put Mayweather second in 2007 income among US sports figures, trailing only golf star Tiger Woods with his abundant endorsement deals.

I really think this fight is going the distance. Although Floyd has knocked 24 people out, his style has evolved into one that is not conducive to knockouts anymore.

The last two guys that weren't bums that he knocked out were Gatti and Diego Corrales. Gatti tried to block all of Floyd's punches with his face. When he knocked out Diego that was in 2001.

If he has any respect for Hatton, there will be no knockout because he will use the same style as he did against Oscar. I'm not gonna say he ran, but he certainly didn't want to go toe to toe with him.

I don't think he wants to go toe to toe with Hatton, either.

Obviously we'll all know the answers come 10pm sat night but...

the only way I see Hatton winning is by KO, from a body shot. Floyd knows it, Hatton knows it. So we'll see how that plays out. I dont think Hatton is stronger than DLH, but he might be faster and look like Cotto did against Mosley. With that said i still see it as Floyds fight to lose. I think Floyd will put it on the line in the late rounds after he builds up a comfortable lead and tires hatton out and gets him n the middle of the ring. Im goin for an 11 or 12th round TKO for PBF
