I think it's a good thing they're going back and forth. Rumored negotiations and now social media war. I think the fight is going to happen. He called Floyd out like Floyd wanted and now Floyd is taunting him. They're already promoting the fight. All are good signs!!

Pac don't want the fight and most likely never really wanted it. I know Floyd called him out on multiple occasions and then back peddled, and also said Pac had to sign with TMT, but before Pac resigned with Arum, he could have made the fight. Floyd was NOT on any of that previous bullshit, he was talking about the fight and Pac resigned with Arum. Now Pac is all of a sudden talking about 140. One minute it's I'm 140 if I can't get the Floyd fight. Dummy, you could have had the Floyd fight multiple times, one of the most recent times being BEFORE you resigned with Arum.

Fuck out of here.

You honestly think Pacquiao, as a fighter, was ever scared to fight Mayweather and didn't want the fight? Not buying it. Now you can say maybe he was, is stupid for trusting Arum, Michael Koncx and the likes, and maybe they didn't want the fight at certain times, but as a fighter I'm sure he was always down for a fight with Floyd. What's there to be scared of? Losing a points decision? Pac's a warrior at heart, the problem has always been everyone else involved (promoters, networks, managers, etc).

Aaaaah....no...Roach wanted the fight, Arum wanted the fight as both of them had stated, "Random blood testing, sure no problem my fighters clean", said Roach. "It seems we only have one issue left but everything seems like it's a go", stated Arum----> "No random bold test, I'm scared of needles after losing to Morales, it is against my religion, I will now launch a law suit", said Manny. So either Manny was bull shitting about RBT or he was scared to lose to Floyd during the first negotiations. All on Manny no one else.

why would you use quotations on something that was never said? That isn't a Pacquiao quote lol. Manny never said he was scared of needles. That's something Bob Arum said not Pacquiao. He said waaay back after the first Morales fight the blood test the day before the fight weakened him (he said that obviously long before Floyd was even considered a possible opponent).

Anyways when you use quotations obviously you should make sure you're actually quoting something someone said (hence the quotation marks).

Back to the topic, I don't think any elite fighter, that believes they are one of the best are truly scared of guys. Unless maybe there is some undefeated Mike Tyson monster around. More often than not the fights that haven't happened are because of all the politics, not cus someone is scared. Why would Pacquiao be scared of Floyd? He fought legends like Morales, Barrera and Marquez. Scared of losing? He's lost several times. Not buying he's scared of Floyds pot shooting defensive style.

Mayweather-Pacquiao: WBC Prez Will Push For it in 2015

According to World Boxing Council [WBC] President Mauricio Sulaiman, the mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and* Manny Pacquiao has to happen in 2015. The hype for Mayweather-Pacquiao has once again erupted following Pacquiao's public challenge which came in the post-fight press conference after his dominating win over Chris Algieri last Saturday night in Macau, China. *
*
“People want to see Pacquiao inside the ring with Mayweather. It is a match that the whole world is waiting for,”*Sulaiman said. “If Mayweather retires without*facing Pacquiao, the question about*which of them*being the best in the world will continue to linger. There is no other fight in this decade that has been expected for so long."

But Mauricio is also fully aware that the negotiations between the two great fighters, their promotional companies, and*how the pie will be divided up -*is not going to be a piece of cake.

He exclusively told the WBC website: "It*all*comes down to*money and egos, and therefore those factors are*outside the area of boxing. However, we will do everything we possibly can to help make it happen."

I'm not saying Pac is scared now. I'm saying Pac didn't want the fight. He could not want the fight and at the same time not be scared. He probably felt he couldn't compete on that level or push himself that much. I mean we heard all of these different excuses from this guy and his camp so one never knows.

It's a different thing when you are fighting Floyd, bro. Truth be told, Floyd has all these guys beat before they even enter the ring. It's very similar to Mike Tyson and how he had people spooked but it has nothing to do with knockouts. It has to do with the fact that you keep hearing this person is unbeatable, and you spend all your time trying to win a "lottery" or a "sweepstakes" and you keep hearing about all these people losing--close but no cigar--same thing with Floyd and I think Pac experienced that. Yeah all of what you are saying happened but it's a different thing with Floyd. It's like a person going up against, Jordan. No matter who you are, how many rings, etc, you're going up against JORDAN. Same with Floyd, bro.

the ex a clad t logic could be flipped when Pac was going through his reign of terror demolishing guys left and right. It's one thing for Floyd beating the likes of Baldomir and Zab Judah and going up weight classes knocking out Cotto. Like Floyds dad said after the fight, it wasn't human and Roger saying Pac was on A-line meth. Spooked Floyd, that's why he wanted all that extra testing that had previously never been done in the history of boxing. Floyds thinking, man this guy is killing opponents, he's not normal he must be artificially great. Talking about "self preservation" and all the money in the world isn't worth ending up like Ali (which was a direct response when asked about fighting Pacquiao!). Same logic bro

the exact logic could be flipped when Pac was going through his reign of terror demolishing guys left and right. It's one thing for Floyd beating the likes of Baldomir and Zach Judah and going up weight classes knocking out Cotto. Like Floyds dad said after the fight, it wasn't human and Roger saying Pac was on A-line meth. Spooked Floyd, that's why he wanted all that extra testing that had previously never been done in the history of boxing. Except no one was lining up to fight Pac like they are with Floyd. Only thing is, they don't even know that they're beat before they enter the ring. No one was really scared of Pac. People are scared of Floyd, not because he has KO power, but because the chances are he is going to beat you. Now look at Pac, he get's knocked out, has other questionable wins over the guy who knocked him out, and no one is looking at him as the great threat, the hill/mountain to topple over. But people look at Floyd like that. No one is saying "I won the Manny lottery" but you see people doing insane things to win the "Floyd Mayweather lottery" and you can't get passed this. They're in two different leagues when it comes to that bro. I mean seriously, you had Chris Algeiri talking about he was gonna knock Pac out. How many people are talking about knocking Floyd out? And how close to they get to actually doing it?

talking is one thing but ones actions are another. Since Floyd's return in 09, he's only had 7 opponents and he's cherry picked them all. That's why it's called the Mayweather lottery. He has only defended the 154 title once, and is being allowed to not fight his WBC 147 mandatory, Manny, cuz the WBC is full of shit when it come to handling Floyd. Why can't they just strip him of his titles, he says they aren't shit anyways.

Cherry picking Marquez? Bradley? When was the last time Floyd fought someone on the p4p list? After receiving a viscous ko by JMM he fights hard hitting Rios and doesn't run around but instead ducks his face up too! STOP IT!
