Man i'm 29 from the V and i'ma tell u straight up he did not have a influence on the bay period. Yeah he had a few knocks, but he cant rap and never could. He's not creative he stole other peoples gimics like the icecream man from yuk, the hotboys from cash money. In certain eras he copyied bigger rappers styles like on his cd 99 problems he tried to sound like 40 because 40 was hot. Around the time of ghetto dope he was tryin to sound like pac because he was the biggest thing goin. As far as his bay music it was the compilations that he put out that makes some of you cats love dude so much. And thats because the compilations had all the tight bayarea artists at those times. Master p iz garbage, and i aint no youngsta.

sorry to break it too you but hot boys pretty much stole p's style, and it's 99 ways to die oh and he didn't sound anything like e-40...even if you ain't a youngsta your rap history is a little bit out of place

just to let you know he did one thing NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY COULD EVER DO...that is run a successful company with over 25 artist under him and sell 75 million records....if you can name somebody else please enlighten me...

i forgot those comps he put out put soooo many people on the map it's not even funny and correct me if i'm wrong but he is the first person in the bay to put out a comp with different cities...so whoever says he didn't contribute to the bay needs fuckin help
