I think im about to go get this. havent bought a game for a long time and this one should last a while. the first one was pretty tight just too much talking to every person in a world and then having to talk to them multiple times to pick the different options to get all the info out of someone. really annoying but good game otherwise.

Picked up my Collector's Edition and installed to the HDD, then redeemed all the codes n shit. I imported my very first Mass Effect playthrough and kept everything the same.

After all that, I only played for like 10-15 minutes cuz I took the wifey to an eye doctor appointment. The beginning was sick as hell and fuckin' intense.

I imported my character for mass effect 1. he was at level 50 for soldier. i kept everything the same but i switched him to vanguard, and now hes only at level 3. is that how its supposed to be or is he supposed to be at level 50+?

since im not that far into i might just restart the game and keep him at soldier.

@ STICK and JAKE, how did you redeem the codes? From what I understand the instructions on the cards are FLAWED/INCORRECT, so if you guys could tell me how you did it I'd appreciate it. I already have the stuff I snatched when MS posted it online, but I haven't snatched the Normady crash site, and terminus armor (which my preorder was for.) Anyway, the game is good so far, feels better than the first, but I don't like how you can't take the helmets off of the preordered armor sets.

That's where he is supposed to be at. If you were level 60 you would be at level 5. You also should have all types of bonuses like $$$, squad points and resources.

Yes, because thats how you open up certain side missions and how you increase your paragon or renegade points.

I usually ask all the questions. I get high and talk to everyone, then scan planets for minerals for hours on end. I've got everything but element zero (or whatever it's called) almost maxed out. LOL hardly making any progress with the quests.

Finally figured out how to find the quests, with the mass relay.
