so to get more resources you just scan and probe planets how do you get more credits i know from wall safes and hacks but damn cant buy shit i used to sell hella shit in the first one

Really

Only way to earn credits in this game. Not only are there loots from enemies/crates but you also receive Cerberus funding for the completion of each mission. Look at the mission summary at the end of each mission. You'll see that Cerberus funding usually matches or is greater than whatever credits you've looted.



Also remember that there are other ways of getting upgrades than paying for them. Recruitment missions and loyalty missions usually have at least one lootable upgrade each.

First, Import a saved ME1 game if you can.

Next, when you get the chance, go for hacking extending upgrades if like me sometimes you run out of time before finishing a hack. If not, then forget this.

Do all side missions and look everywhere, because in walk in containers in places like cargo areas on missions, are things like boxes of resources, PDAs that give you money, wall safes etc. Plus Cerberus pays you for doing those Side Missions.

On Horizon, before you do the last section on fixing the satellite tracking system for the gun, go into every house and check everywhere, laptops have money, wall safes, you name it, plus there is ammo to be had.

As the OP said, the DLCs give you lots of money too.

Be sure during the missions to keep an eye out for "salvage", those blue squares, you can get thousands of credits for some salvage. Collector’s ship mission, Jacob and Garrus mission has some nice salvage in it. Also funny enough during Garrus mission you find 600 credits in a trash can right besides a door you pass through.


After a battle slowly pan around the room and anything worthwhile will show up
both as a blue square and text.

think im pretty much on the last mission the suicide one just been going to different places trying to get 100% on all of em before i do the mission and gettin the anomalies the scan is gay takes forever i got enough resources so i plant pretty much one probe and go to different clusters

Did you download the patch? The patch speeds up the scanner Also, did you upgrade the scanner?

yeah did the updates and upgrades for all the normandy weapons i have like 500,000 of every resources except element zero

Element Zero is rare. You aren't going to find a lot of that. But yeah, if you patched the game the scanner thing should be a lot quicker than what it was originally. Do you have any of the DLC? Also, how loyal are the squad members?

You're missing out by not having the DLC. No Zaeed or Kasumi? Yes, Jacob is useless but for the true ME 2 experience you need to have the dlc. There is no other way.

Be careful with the suicide mission. I'll explain why after you complete the game.

Take the choices in the suicide mission seriously cause they affect the rest of the story in me 3. Maybe even make a new save so you can go back if you don't like how shit turns out

When did you do the suicide mission? If you took too long to get to it several people are gonna die.

And it's hard playing on the hardest difficulty (which I play on.)

I have an evil Shepard that didn't upgrade shit and got careless and hella people died lol. Theres also a way to save everyone I've heard but I haven't done it

I've saved everyone as well as had everyone die, including Shepard lol. Was hoping for a little something when trying to import that save, but it doesn't even show up.

I was doing all the resource planets everyone died from the crew but my whole team lived im gonna do another play through and get maxed out renegade

I have three save files:

1. Everyone saved (crew and squad members alike.)

2. All squad saved some of the crew dead.

3. Zaeed dead and all crew saved.

You need to max out your resources and all of that way before the suicide mission opens up. If you waste time trying to knock it all out after that mission opens up they'll die.
