^ Damn, that dude got put to sleep, literally.

What fight was that ?

Anyways, this fight will definitely be worth the $25...I don't have Showtime either...but the first two fights were wars.

Allen Green vs Jaidon Codrington, Knockout of the year 2005

The fight lasted 18 seconds, then a mini riot erupted after Codrington's entourage (I think including Damon Dash) went in the ring for about 10 minutes while Codrington laid on the canvas. Crazy night

yeah that's why everyone on the Contender wanted to fight him, cuz they knew he'd been brutally KO'd. And sure enough he gets KO'd again. Cordington has some good skills, but everytime he gets hit it looks devastating. I mean Sakio Bika isn't really known for tremendous power, but against Jaidon he looked like Hagler

WBC super banatamweight champion Israel Vazquez weighed in at 122 lbs. Challenger and former champion Rafael Marquez weighed 121.5 lbs. (More to come)
___________

Oh, and this is worth the watch (especially to those not familiar with the prior two brawls)

^ I agree. Nothing better than two dudes leaving everything they have in the ring. Even with the boxing clinics that Floyd Mayweather puts on...its not half as satisfying as seeing fighters like these two guys put it all on the line.

Chico was another fighter like that, which is why I was such a big fan of his.

I think and really want Vazquez to take the rematch. I like both fighters but I've followed Vazquez more throughout his career and was rooting for him in the first fight. My prediction is Vazquez with a 6th round ko and then hopefully he breaks Ponce de Leons jaw off after.

These kinds of fights are the only reason I have Showtime. I can't wait!

As far as who's going to pull this out... I have to go with Vasquez. I think Marquez is going to try to slow down the fight but he's not going to be able to stop the action. Vasquez late round stoppage or decision.

Showtime is pretty good at replaying their fights and I'm 99% sure it'll end up on OnDemand. I already told people that are coming over here to order the UFC that we're watching Marquez/Vazquez III first and recording UFC until after.
