Well, he really isn't possessed because he is dead and we've seen his actual body. Easu has just took his form to talk Linus into killing Jacob and then just kept it for one reason or another.

I wonder if Easu has been the other "dead" people that have been seen on the island? Like Jack's dad, etc.

I'm pretty sure he has been.. They might not answer that because they think it is assumed, but they had a line earlier about how he could just change his appearance, and the new chick that is the defender of the island was like, well, no he can't, he's stuck this way now or some shit like that.

Me after tonight's episode.

Yeah I loved it, but they said they were going to explain everything with science... So this episode was a contradiction.. however, maybe MIB is fucking with Ricardo and just riding the heaven/hell story along to manipulate him..

I finally figured it out.

This episode is all about universal healthcare.

Poor, hard working, good man can't afford healthcare. Greedy doctor won't give him the pharmaceuticals. Poor guy kills doctor. Working class revolution!

Nah, they aren't in hell. Richard just said that to them because that's what he originally believed and it looks like he lost it for a second there.

I don't know what to think about the island possibly being a "cork" to keep hell "bottled up" and that if Easu leaves then everything is going to hell, pun intended.

Where did they say everything could be explained by science? I'm guessing you mean the directors/producers/writers right? I must have missed that. Got a link?

Regardless of all that stuff... great fucking episode.
