I'VE MET A FEW DUDES WHO CLAIMED SURENO BUT LIVED UP NORTH WHEN I WAS IN THE PEN...AND HONESTLY SPEAKING THESE DUDES HAD TO PROVE THEMSELVES TIME AND TIME AGAIN...THE SURENOS FROM DOWN SOUTH WERE SKEPTICAL OF THEM...GEOGRAPHICALLY SPEAKING OF COURSE THEY AINT FROM THE SOUTH...YOU GET ALOT OF FOOLS FROM DOWN SOUTH WHO MOVE UP NORTH AND TAKE A PAGE OUTTA 18 STREET'S BOOK AND LET FOOLS CLAIM A HOOD THEY NEVER EVEN BEEN TO...TO SOME DEGREE I FIND IT TO BE FUNNY...BUT THAT STRATEGY IS WHAT MAKES SOME HOODS DEEP...THEIR THEORY IS, OUTTA TEN RECRUITS AT LEAST TWO OR THREE WILL END UP BEING DOWN OR DIE FOR THE CAUSE...AND THE STREETS WILL WEED OUT THE WEAK... BUT THERE IS DEFINITELY A DIFFRENCE BETWEEN SURENOS FROM THE SOUTH AND FOOLS WHO CLAIM SURENO UP NORTH...BUT EVERY HOOD HAS THERE SHARE OF RIDERS NO MATTER HOW MANY PUNKS GET EXPOSED FROM THERE. OR MAYBE THE FIRST GENERATION WILL GET PUNKED AND SERVED BUT THE NEXT GENERATION WILL ADAPT AND START RETALIATING...I REMEMBER AT SUSANVILLE ALOT OF BLACK DUDES FROM THE BAY THOUGHT THE REAL SURENOS WERE PUNKS AND TRIED TO TREAT US LIKE THEM FOOLS, JUST TO FIND OUT THAT THESE 13'S WERE A WHOLE DIFFRENT BREED TO CONTEND WITH...I ALWAYS KEPT MY OWN CIRCLE BUT IF FOOLS WERE DOWN THEN HOW COULD I NOT GIVE RESPECT?... SO I TOOK IT BY A CASE BY CASE BASIS. AND GAVE KNOWLEDGE TO THE FOOLS I FOUND WORTHY OF IT.
I think lil rob just makes good music which is why alot of people like him.
He might not be the best lyricist or anything but he makes some real dope music. Like this song.
And about all this mexican up north and south.
I THINK because of all the cholos who have problems wit nortenos they are spreading it to regular kids growing up around them even when that regular kid doesnt bang and has nothing to do with it.
to me all that stuff about mexicans hating blacks and hating nortenos is mostly a GANG thing. But now regular mexican kids are wanting to be "cool" or whatever and they start saying that they hate nortenos and blacks and all that.
Cus in reality i dont think anybody really hates the other person. Cus i use to live in Pomona and my neighbor was black and we never had problems. And i got family up north in Sacramento and when i go to visit i aint never had problems either.
If ur a gangbanger then i guess u have to hate cus blacks gangs and nortenos cus u got to defend yourself cus they most likely wont like u.

I recently bought the thizz ent dvd block report, and julio goldtoes said some real shit, you cats need to come together...
lil rob went to frisco and cats was feelin him. he gets radio play from hawaii to cali, to utah, to texas. is he the best rapper, probably not. but like surcaliman was trying to point out, just listen to the music and enjoy it. he ain't a battle rapper, he is cat tryin to make universal music. and he gets my respect.
