THE MEDIA AND COACHES SAID LEBRON WAS THE CHOSEN ONE NOT LEBRON. I NEVER EVEN HEARD LEBRON ONCE SAY HE WONTED TO BE LIKE ANY OF THEM PEOPLE YOU NAMED. OF COURSE LIKE ANY OTHER KID GROWING UP HE LOOKED UP TO MJ BUT SHIT HE HAS HIS OWN PATH. WHAT EVER COMES OF IT COME OF IT BUT HE STILL GOING TO BE A HALL OF FAME PLAYER.
Lebron has it tatted on his back.

HE decided he was the ''CHOSEN 1", like it says on HIS back.

Exactly.... Pippen was a great player but he couldn't lead a team of his own. Remember when Pippen went to Portland and Houston?
That's not quite fair, in terms of where he was at in that stage of his career. For the most part, he was done. Pippen was a good player still, but no where near the player he was with Chicago.

if the lakers and celtics can do it, why cant the heat?
garnett and gasol arent the best players in the league trying to be one of the greatest ever and when i say greatest ever i mean top 2. apples to oranges. that would have been like peyton manning leaving the colts to go play for the pats 4 years ago as bradys backup so he could say he won a ring.

Chris Paul leaving New Orleans?
By Mark J. Miller

Chris Paul expressed public happiness recently when the New Orleans Hornets hired a new coach in Monty Williams and now the team has a new general manager, Dell Demps, but CBSsports is reporting that Paul is trying to get himself out of the Big Easy before the season begins.

When Paul. who has two years left on his contract, was at Carmelo Anthony's(notes) wedding in New York earlier this month, he made reference to the idea that he, Anthony, and Amar'e Stoudemire(notes) would all team up in the Big Apple at some point to make their on Big Three.

New York is one of the places the point guard would like to be traded to, the site reports, along with the Orlando Magic or Los Angeles Lakers. The sources say he's done with the Hornets and hopes never to play there again.

as much as I've been trolling this whole situation. I actually think it's good for the league. it got a buzz going, got people talking. hopefully it will have people watching too. there's going to be people jumping on the bandwagon and then there will be people watching to see them fail. which is always good in sports. kind of like how it's good for the nfl when the raiders are winning.

as of right now my top five teams are:

1.Lakers- we are the champs after all.

2.Thunder- scariest team in the league for me.

3.Celtics- would be 2 if not for age.

4.Magic- they'll be just as dangerous as they were last year.

5.Spurs- I won't count them out until dunkin and pop are gone.
so I was wrong about the thunder and didn't see new orleans making such a big comeback. my list still holds up pretty well though.
