I was trying to convey that I was dissapointed. "Genius" should've shown more growth and development of a rising star, yet all we received was a "softer" album with forgettable guest appearances (minus Kutt on "So High," Tech on "Get Off" and E-40 of course) and some throw away Tech verses. I don't expect anybody to agree with me or my views. I just had to express that the "dark harcore element" was severly missed and absent. The reason I prefer "Vitiligo" to this is because it had the darkness. Sure some songs exuded calmer, more party-oriented melodies, but tracks like "Peek-A-Boo" and "Anxiety" let you know that Krizz was coming with it. ("Rewind" has to be one of the better tracks as well) I for one, feel that the "celebrate life" mantra (which don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful notion) has sweetened the entire approach of musical creativity at Strange.

Think about it... What do your favorite Kaliko and Tech songs song like?

Here's mine: "Buku" and "Breathe"

Again, I know that not everyone enjoys the darker moods and we all should be more open and accepting to growth and progress.

All I'm asking is for is that the music is harder next time...

I've never seen Kaliko as a "dark/hardcore" person, honestly.

He has a few dark tracks or whatever, but that's not really what I've ever thought he was about.

I got love for Matics beats and shit, but sometimes I think ya'll are on his nuts too much cuz dude posts on here. Matic is a very humble guy from what I've seen. I'm sure he wouldnt be mad if he seen a few people like another beat.
