ABC to air debate on God online

NEW YORK, May 3 (UPI) -- Actor Kirk Cameron and author Ray Comfort will square off in New York with two atheists to debate the existence of God live on ABC.com.

The debate will be Wednesday after the network rescheduled it from Saturday to capture a larger audience, Comfort said in a news release.

Comfort, who says he can prove God exists scientifically, said ABC originally offered him four minutes to present his case. After conferring with Cameron and the atheists, the time was raised to 13 minutes.

"I'm ecstatic. I can prove the existence of God in that amount of time," Comfort said.

^They were obviously highly unqualified to debate God in the context of science, but I will admit that they got owned pretty badly..

As far as the first (not the third, the guy is an idiot and I just caught that) Law of thermodynamics, that's a ridiculous argument to say the least since all natural laws break down at the scale of the singularity and beyond that, it's a mystery (God's mystery). Yet he's preaching about Occam's razor? Ha! In others words, just because energy can't be created or destroyed now doesn't mean that this was always the case, and this assumption can be allowed scientifically as there's no law to refute it (though logically any assumption either way won't pass the test of Occam's razor).. They took advantage of those guys really..

Yeah, that guy made a youtube video where he corrected himself on saying the third law. He is part of some "rational response team". They have other vids on youtube.

it's been said millions of times - God of the gaps is not a good God, moreover he got moved there very recently so it's intelectually dishonest and hypocritic to say "What we don't know about the universe is God's mystery"

Where will you hide your god when we fill these gaps

Everybody who believes in a personal, judeo-christian type of God, who listens to prayers, creates floods that leave no evidence behind them, creates an 150 billion light years big universe, just to send his son to some humanoids on a small planet orbiting around a just as small and insignificant star and gives them a holy book full of scientific and historical lies, which they have to read and follow, is an idiot, period
