yeah i know rap was formed by many others but some black people believe that its their culture. How many chicanos do you see on tv rappin'? By tv i mean main stream? None. What about white people? know you have some people you can name. take eminem when he came out lots of blacks shunned him because he was singing black music. Yeah they might not have known too much about raps heritage but they made those accusations. Same thing with the word nigga, that word IS interchangeable with nigger. And you haven't commented, and if you have you have just touched on the fact that many african americans don't like the word. And no lowrider isn't meant for only latinos but it is latino culture, as rice rockets are asian culture, as jazz music is black culture, as golf is white culture. No black person on this board said that they don't like mexicans using nigga but what if I an actual Mexican (born there, in the capital, soy chilango) said i don't want white/black/etc to use lowriders anymore? Well they still won't listen because lowriders/rap/and the word nigga are already integrated into out community.

well what about my point? Now black person ever said they had a problem with the usage of that word. But what If i said, "leader don't use the word "wetback" would you actually never use it? re: hip-hop culture being only for black people... it doesnt matter what people think, they are wrong. the word "NIGGA" on the other hand, is the modern day "BROTHA". Black people didnt start calling one another that until they flipped it around on white people calling them "NIGGER". It's the same as Nortenos callin themselves "114% Busters". Now if I threw that word around it wouldnt be so permissable would it? If a Sureno was sayin "BUSTER" you know it isnt a term of endearment then its the same as sayin "NIGGER". The bottom line is, the word "NIGGA" is supposed to mean BLACK PERSON. It somehow went from being a very cold negative term as "NIGGER" to this term that many black people liked to use in reference to ONE ANOTHER. Of course not every black person approves of its usage in any manner, but the meaning is still the same.
