Jayo never comes out with shit. I remember the album supposed come out was called "If the shoe fits". Then he signed to Universal and was supposed to release "In the trenches". Then he signed with Spice 1's record label and i think it was the same name i cant remember. I'm sure some of yall know. Hope he comes out with something before he turns 40. But 30 is the new 20 so i guess its cool to wait until u turn 30 again.

Az far az Lil Rob putting Dago on the map thatz a joke. The only people who bump him iz Surs. Thatz It! Just cuz he came before Jayo don't mean he put Dago on the map. Big No Love & Homicide were some of the pioneers of Sac rap but we all know that Bo, X & Lynch put Sac on the map. Furthermore Lil Rob iz one of the worst rappers I ever heard. I don't think I could even act like hiz shit.

But it aint the same thing...youre almost insinuating that i'm bieng closeminded by just hearing some shit on the radio and forming my opinion...When its really that i just dont fuck with that type of music..its like telling me that linkin park is tight..you know?....and hes not particularly skilled on the mic on top of that so, to me it feels like if i felt he had a glimmer of skill i would have listened to one of his albums by now..
and im not looking at it as a black or brown thing either, but thats just not the type of shit imma bump....ill listen to SPM or chingo or 7 notas 7 colores, slush the villian or soemthing... or of mexican descent, or some psycho realm, or gel roc/tommy v/ex2 or for my puerto ricans, some old fat joe (flow joe) and some kurious jorge...my mind has just build an immunity to the sound of the music that lil rob makes...
and we all know outselling people dosent mean much, if anything...untalented rappers commonly outsell dope rappers all across the nation. plus, theres more lations in southern cal by far...blacks supposedly only take up 9 percent of SD .

but san diego is on the map alot more than hundreds of other cities
so it is what it is, if someone hears a san diego rapper like jayo or mitchy then san diegos on the map to them...i personally know alot of people who started out like listening to jayo...moved on to mitchy....then got into more local shit like cee wee and big june...theres a small cult following..i dont think its on the map but i think we'd be kidding ourselves if we said we dont have a buzz, a potentially more lucrative buzz than most places have.
good music spreads by word...i can attest to like 3 people outside of san diego who were out and someone else tried to put them up on big june..and they were like shit thats in my car...

Maybe I can clear some of this up I've lived in houston from '89 to '02 and the only person I've ever hear of from dago while I was out there was jayo. I remember being bout 8 or 9 and watching loc on his own video on rap city. I never heard of lil rob til I came back out to dago. I know that doesn't mean he put dago on the map but he was the first I heard from here
