Jay Z = The Best Rapper Alive?

I don't think Jay-Z is the best rapper alive but he is very skilled on the mic. Im not sure who Id consider the best alive. Maybe Ghostface Killah but im not sure. But if any of yall ever seen Jay-Z perform live I doubt you would question his skills. I saw him perform live and never doubted his skills after that. That muthafucka can just rap.
I don't personally consider him the greatest rapper of all time, but I could respect someone making that argument. Nothing after Reasonable Doubt made me go like "DAMN, this is the sickest shit I ever heard," but as far as important mainstream rappers, he's been one of the more talented and consistent for the past 10 years. He'd probably be on the low end of my Top 20, though....
It would also help if you actually knew what lyricism is - Metaphores, punchlines, rhyme schemes, multi syllables and subject matter. Jay-Z shits on C-Bo in every single one of those catagories. I've heard Gas Chamber, Tales from the Crypt, Till My Casket Drops, Enemy of the State, so trust me I've listened to plenty of C-Bo's shit. So before you start accusing me of being on Jay's dick, learn a thing or two about rap first.
