Jay-z is one of the best

with that being said, just because he didn't use auto-tune doesn't hide the fact that this album sounds just as watered down as other mainstream music out (edit) there.

I'll admit that i haven't given it a fair chance (that new Raekwon has stayed in my car) but i could tell from a quick listen through that this album is trash....

I disagree

this album has a different sound than anything else out

it doesn't have that grimey-gutter type feel to it, but doesn't mean it's mainstream-pop music

it's got an original sound to it... Jay-Z always comes with a distinct new sound on every album, which is what makes him one of the best rappers out

"Hov on that new shit, niggas like how come
Niggas want my old shit, buy my old album
Niggas stuck on stupid, I gotta keep it movin
Niggas make the same shit, me I make the blueprint"

meta good to see we're on the same page. The new Raekwon has been gettin more play since they were both leaked, but this new Blueprint is quality music and I'll go on a limb I know it's early but this is probably his 3rd best album out of his catalogue (Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, Blueprint 3).....and to king dru, there was auto-tune on here on 3 songs

Yeah I downloaded a shitty version, the one I had sounded horrible but I got a new link. I wouldnt say this album is trash like most put it out to be. I was expecting to hear some extravagant music thats for sure, hence naming this Blueprint 3... this was more like "Kingdom Come part 2"
i think everyone should listen to this guy cuz this is on point about the album as your gonna hear.

With the exception of Blueprint 2, Kingdom Come, and this album, Jay-Z's discography is hard to touch, bUT there is absolutley no substance to this album. All he talks about is himself...and i realize that that is what rappers do....but he's taking it to another level. All he's doing now is writing relatively clever ways of talking about 'I sold alot of records, have an R&B wife, I've reached a level of respect both in and out of the rap game' and then have someone throw in a chorus that doesn't even fit with the song half the time. I wish i didn't buy it, but there's several decent tracks and the production is pretty nice
