i agree but i'm not about to be in my ride bumpin lyrics. the beats gotta be tight. but not everybody has the same taste as me.
i thought warren g's regulate had some bomb as beats but his lyrics sucked balls. but thats just me though.
to me both have to equally be dope. if the lyrics aint tight then the beats better be crazy. Gangstarr and Gucci Mane come to mind. But Gucci Mane has some descent lyrics for that genre of rap.
Yeah I downloaded a shitty version, the one I had sounded horrible but I got a new link. I wouldnt say this album is trash like most put it out to be. I was expecting to hear some extravagant music thats for sure, hence naming this Blueprint 3... this was more like "Kingdom Come part 2"
yup, the presence jigga has on the mic is almost unmatched...he just oozes arrogance. Most of these wack MC's try to immitate that it's called "swag"....
There's a lot of mixed emotion about this album already. A lot of people are whining that it's weak and doesn't do the original Blueprint any justice. He says it in "On To The Next One"...."hov on that new shit/niggas like how come/niggas want my old shit/but my old al-bum...". I would argue that this is his best album since the original Blueprint, a true hip hop classic...Blueprint 2 was alright but had way too much filler and coulda been 1 disc easily. Black album was pretty tight and definitely solid. Kingdom Come was dope for the first 5 tracks and American Gangster was boring and has little to no replay value. You gotta accept each album in his library for what it is.
Dude keeps it moving and continues to innovate new sounds in hip-hop which I would say he accomplished with this album.
