Uhh, no.

While the offense has struggled, Coach Singletary has already proven capable of leading his team to victory. Let's not forget he doesn't have the most talented roster to work with, but still manages to win games and put a respectable product on the field. The Niners will only get better as they acquire the bodies to run the system the way Singletary wants it to run.

I don't see how anyone who has actually been paying attention to this team at all can have any doubts about Singletary. Then again, there's always gonna be skeptics no matter how much proof is given. All you really have to do is look at last year's team under Nolan and compare it to the team when Singletary took over. It's basically the same roster, but a completely different "team."
Singletary thus far has an 8-6 record as a head coach.

I think Singletary is a great motivator and looks promising, but let him win something before you crown him the next Bellichick. That is all i'm saying.

I don't think anyone is crowning singletary as the next bellichick, but you can't really deny he's doing a good job

I wish we had a coach like singletary in oakland

8-6 is a great record for a roster like ours. The first loss, to Seattle, shouldn't even be counted against him since he was forced to take over Nolan's mess in the middle of the week, giving him no time to strategize or implement his gameplan. We have two star players, one on offense and one on defense - and the offensive star is not a QB. Take a look at every other winning coach's roster and then come talk about whether or not Singletary has proven himself. He's done more with less talent than most coaches in the league.

And nobody is trying to compare him to Bellichek or any other SuperBowl-winning coach. What I'm saying is he's done enough to prove he is a good coach. If he had more talent to work with he'd have an even better record.

3. Defensively we're garbage and we're playing with no fire or desire to win. We play the same defenses over and over. We never, ever blitz. It's time fellaz, it's time!!
Ive come to the conclussion this will never change as long as Al Davis is running the team. Different d coordinators come and go but its always the same man to man defense with little to no blitzing.

I cant see any proven head coach wanting to work for Al Davis at this point.

^^ Its always been like this.... why you think we've gone thru soo many coaching changes... Al needs to let a fucking coach do his job already! Seriously with all the talent on the squad you kno how good we can be if we let a coach have full control of the team and coach the team to play WINNING football..... Shit if I had a chance to coach the raiders and do whatever I wanted to guranteed Id make the team have instant success!! Just imagine the Raiders offense in the "wild cat" formation with McFadden doin the dam thang just like Ronnie Brown in Miami..... The D can be as solid as they where today if Al lets Marshall continue playing the packages he wants too... bout time we saw some zone schemes and blitzes today and not just man to man.. The last time we had a coach WIN with his style of coaching and plays got traded away to Tampa fucking Bay! Come on Al.. enough is fuckin enough.... I say the players and coaches let their voices be heard to Al!

http://www.ibabuzz.com/oaklandraiders/2009/10/28/cable-hopes-to-prod-a-better-effort/

Some nightmarish rushing defense numbers _ the the Raiders have given up 200 or more yards rushing in three games (214 to Denver, 220 to the New York Giants, 316 to the New York Jets) and has lost those games by a combined score of 105-3.

The Raiders have given up 11 rushing touchdowns, tied for St. Louis for the most in the NFL, and have given up 133 touchdowns in 103 games (winning 26 of them) since the start of the 2003 season, the most in the NFL.

– Defensive end Richard Seymour was at a loss as to why the Raiders were struggling with a skill as fundamental as tackling.

“It is such a basic thing and obviously we need to do a better,” Seymour said. “We need to do a better job in practice. Maybe we make practice live, I don’t know.”

Cable was asked if he would consider live-tackling and said, “If it gets to that point, absolutely.”

After giving up 316 yards on the ground, you wonder what “that point” would be.

So when is Tom Cable going to hold himself responsible? No accountability whats so ever.... why was Russell benched when the game was still tied? Why hasn't DHB been benched? Cable won't be head coaching us next year.... he has to take some of the blame too.

All Qb's make shitty throws (that's not an excuse).... I'm mad at him benching Russell "this game" because he wasn't playing bad enough to get benched. I mean if he can bench and sit Russell then why can't he bench DHB? DHB cost the Raiders the game. If he doesn't drop those easy ass pop warner catches, the Raiders win. Those drops by DHB were pathetic. I had no idea that dude would be that sorry, he's terrible, worst hands I've ever seen from a receiver.

If Cable can bench and talk about how bad Russell is playing then he could bench the other players that are screwing up too.

And when is Cable going to hold himself responsible? No accountability from this man at all. He's going to get fired, we'll have a new coach next year.
