I mean seriously? What did you really expect this episode to be about? You think they would just skip past Tony being in the hospital and him being up and moving again? I mean come on lol it was very obvious that this episode was going to be like this. Yea it was dull and boring but on paper it was genius. It did nothing but fuel the flame for the rest of the season. Though, I will admit I wont be happy if more of the season is like this. But like Mark said. After 2 years I'll take anything i can get lol even if its just Tony sitting on the shitter the whole episode.

Details and redundancy are different things. We know whats comming, and we don't learn anything new about the characters, in other words there is no drama. Thus this episode was blah. Its not about depth, depth adds, this added nothing. We didn't undertstand the characters better we didn't learn anything about them, nada, boring. If we miss this episode do we miss anything? No. Thus it was basiclly a waste of time. 30 minutes of tony being a salesman, 20 minutes of carmella and meadow crying and aj beign a betch and 4 minutes of good stuff. We lost.

prediction . . .

won't be till episode 6 that tony comes out of it
I think it'll be at either the end of the next episode, or the beginning of the one after that... I think that the dream sequence will continue next episode, just to show what happens, and then it'll be over.

I hope he aint in the hospital in the next episode, that'd be dissappointing...
Question: Why was Tony goin' to a sales conference? Was it supposed to be before he joined the mob? I think I missed something..

It was a dream sequence.. Maybe not a dream.. His soul is trapped between death and life.. He could have the choice of life and death in the sequence.. He's a different guy in the sequence though. He's the Tony Soprano that never joined the mob. In season one, he told Melfi that if he wasn't in the mob, he might be "selling Patio Furniture in San Diego" or something like that. Then, you got this sequence, where he's a salesman in California, who used to sell Patio Furniture before moving up.

This whole episode has a lot of different hidden messages and meanings, and honestly, I think it's one of the most rewatchable episodes of the Sopranos.

And, of course he's still gonna be in the hospital in the next episode.. You think they are just gonna skip over it all, and all of a sudden Tony is all better, and not in the hospital anymore. He'll still be in the hospital... Probably not for much longer, though.

What is the symbolic meaning suggested by Burrough's "Seven Souls" for the montage at the beginning of "Members Only," first episode of season 6, episode 66 of The Sopranos?

[A.J., apparently in one of his college classes]
Number five is Ka, the Double, most closely associated with the subject. The Ka, which usually reaches adolescence at the time of bodily death, is the only reliable guide through the Land of the Dead to the Western Lands.

You think AJ could have something to do with Tony coming out of his coma or whatever? That just kinda hit me there like he could do something this week, or maybe he's talking to him while Tony wakes up, and Tony remembers, and realizes he's in a coma and comes out of it. Like he can hear AJ's voice in his dream world or something like that.

I watched it again, that makes 4. Still loved it, I would advise anyone to watch it for Falcos performance.

What I am wondering is with Uncle June and the Pussy Malinga thing. We all know he was supposed to get wacked at the old Vesuvio's in episode one. Since then, I dont recall him being brought up until now. I want to know the story behind Pussy Malinga, why was he supposed to get clipped ? details of his death ? etc.

No

But you're right about my former prediction about the coma lasting till episode 6, it'll be the next one.

I remember seeing a snippet of a preview of the season and it had a scene where they were rolling a sphisticated wheelchair into the Bing, or Satriali's.i thought it could end up being juniors, but from the looks of it,what if Tony comes back a parapalegic. It would be the complete opposite for him,not being able to use his force,i dunno ,its just kinda tinkerin in my head

of all the post that i hear about this season being gay,or not enough action or what not,i say fuck it dont watch it then. We've seen the tough tony for fuckin 5 seasons already, all im sayin is that they aint gonna end the series with Tony being boss and running his family like normal(this is some-what based on real life,or in a real life atmosphere, thats why we havnt seen any insane crime wars with 20 people dieing in the streets of jersey and york). There has to be a plot, and a plot that has a titalating conclusion(This is david chase were talkin about, not some washed up "nypd"producer).Iv been watchin T and the fam for years,so im jus kinda takin it all in as its comin, like theyv said before you cant be on top forever, when your on top the only other place you can go is down.So all the people pissin and moanin about seein some mob shit, watch earlier seasons,or watch another show. This shit is classic for me.Having something so drastic that could change Tonys life outcome is hard to comprehend, but like in real life,SHIT HAPPENS.I think that ALOT of things are going to change from now on.and i have faith in Chase to show some pretty dope shit.so what happens ,happens.but you gotta be a tool if you think that the series will end with Tony runnin the same fam, with the same captians, with the old shit thats been goin on for series now.One piece of advice...watch all seasons very closely if your really into this shit.in every newer episode you will see ,will have references to past episodes, which is aight for the normal watcher, but brilliant to the people who have been watching T since day one.im out
