The only way you can get an egg from rotation of a figure in the plain is by taking a cross section through the vertical rotational axis of an egg and rotate it.
If you rotate an ellipse with two axes of symmetry around it's shorter one, you get an oblate spheroid. You have to do that in order to approximate the Earth because the Earth has only one axis and it is short
If you rotate around the long axis you get a prolate spheroid which eggs resemble but it has absolutely no similarity to the shape of the Earth because its axis is long

An egg-shape exactly like the figures presented in the illustrations will attain this horizontal rotation from its shorter axis. It is sickening that you lead this goose chase the entire time by focusing on the egg and not the shape of an egg. Not all eggs have that long of a vertical axis and again, the stretching effect of an early earth approximates that much more closely to the said shape anyways.

Take a very careful look at it
Look at it from the side - its cross section is an ellipse with TWO symmetry axes
Look at it from the top - the cross section is circular because it is the product of a 360 degrees rotation of an object in the plain

Now look at an egg:
If you position it horizontally and look at it from the side its cross section is an ellipse with ONE symmetry axis
Now look at it from the top - what is the cross section - it is the same!!!!
