In whose opinion has Tech not blown up??????? Tech is prob more living comfortable off of his music than he has ever been......... A KC local ain't gonna get the attention as a ATL, NY, LA, Chi-Town, Detroit, Miami, Houtson local. When it all boils down to it everybody iz local. Who's gonna get more spotlight and shine the NYC local or the KC local???????? The mathematics add up in the more prosperus geographical location.....

Yeah man, thats pretty much what I was saying. He is a huge independent artist and it is more of an accomplishment to be so widely known without all the bullshit radio and tv exposure.

he raps too fast for the average listener? Rap is so slow these days...so simple.

I mean if you think about it what fast rappers are in the mainstream these days? Twista no, bone no....etc etc....Luda is the only semi fast rapper in the mainstream. (at least i cant think of anyone, and its 3am).

Speak on it siccness.
Uhhhh...how is Twista NOT considered mainstream? He has had several songs on the radio and video's over the last 5 years.

You're right... but I think it kind of depends on where you're living. I know MTV plays him but you're not going to catch much Twista on the radio here in NY.

lol...you still live five years in the past? he didnt drop a single in two years and im not really sure if Wetter Get It Wet Pt. 2 got any video play...if it did then i guess he is still mainstream....but..........

and i quote..

The album debuted at #10 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 41,000 copies in its first week; this was markedly poorer than the first week performance of The Day After, which debuted #2 with about 129,000 copies sold.[2]. The album also dropped off the charts quickly, falling to #48 in its second week with 18,000 copies sold, then falling off the Top 100.

As of October 2007, the album has sold 200,000 copies, a pale comparison to the platinum status of Kamikaze (album).
So how is he still doing mainstream numbers? People that listen to underground music give him too much credit STILL....yes he was mainstream from 2005-2006 but then he fell off. Couldnt stay up in the mainstream especially with a album as bad as Adrenaline Rush 2007.

in my opinion if you aint dropped nothin in 2 years and your name isnt eminem,ti, jayz, wayne etc etc, then you are not in the mainstream light and havent been in a while.

The way i view twista is he had the mainstream but they let go. But i think he can gain it back real quick.
