he raps too fast for the average listener? Rap is so slow these days...so simple.

I mean if you think about it what fast rappers are in the mainstream these days? Twista no, bone no....etc etc....Luda is the only semi fast rapper in the mainstream. (at least i cant think of anyone, and its 3am).

Speak on it siccness.

Its a lot more than that. Tech needs to dumb down his lyrics to be on the same level as some soulja boy shit. Hopped up out the bed turned my swag on. Whats up? yea whats up? im getting moneyyyyyyyy!!

that shit is too simple and all these uneducated ppl are loving it.

Tech isn't mainstream cuz he doesn't do mainstream music. When he tries he fails. He needs to just do him, he has a hardcore following and as I do understand the need to broaden your fanbase, you don't wanna alienate the ones you do have to get others and I think he realizes that. It will take a dramatic change in rap music in general for Tech to be popular in the mainstream.

yes they are. Slacker was an obvious attempt at getting Eminem fans and Bout to Bubble was supposed to be a radio friendly jam that didn't make it to the radio.

perhaps he gets alot of play in his hometown, but he doesn't get shit outside of that.

I wish they played Tech on the radio in KC. The only Tech song that ever got radio play consistently was Let's Get Fucked Up by the RDV's

I guess that's what I like about bay area radio, they'll play bay underground shit but they don't get any more diverse than that. At least in LA they'd play shit from all over the country, but pretty much only signed established artists.

I forgot about its alive. I think thats the only SOLO track that 103.3 gave any real radio play. I always hear people saying they know Tech from I'm A Playa, but I dont ever remember hearing that in heavy rotation on the radio.
