Ive never heard of a guy who supposedly is trying to be mainstream make songs like Tech does.. for example Hope For A Higher Power or Psycho Bitch 2.. You would NEVER hear tracks like those on the radio or see them on tv...

lmao can't beleive i just read all that haha but good arguments on both your sides i agree tech shouldn't just do shit cause he wants commercial play he should make music as it comes to him but maybe you over looked that that's wat he might just be doing maybe he is slowly turning commercial and not really trying to or maybe he is but like it was said before ill still support him as long as the music is still above average quality

There's a problem when you're making good music and highlighting the fun parts of your life and your most "loyal" fans are calling you a sell-out. Many "fans" think Tech was original or underground because of the dark ass music he used to make, now all of a sudden when he comes up and is actually enjoying life, everyone wants to put him down and call him a sell-out. Fuck that shit. Tech is a true success story, I don't need to tell everyone here the same old shit they've heard a million times or highlight his career, because his music speaks for itself.

We've come from Psycho Bitch and Suicide Letters, to Midwest Choppers and Misery, to Take It Off and Waitress, and Tech has NEVER compromised his flow for a mainstream appeal. He doesn't exactly have the best taste in beats, but he damn well does his best to make sure them motherfuckers are fire. Fuck all this "turning commercial" bullshit. The moment Tech signs on with a Major label and let's a label fuck him over for his music, talent, and dignity, then I'll say that. But don't hate on someone for experimenting with music and enjoying their life to the best of their ability.

Everyone just needs to grow the fuck up and just enjoy the music already.

I never said shit about him selling out to a major. I said he was using more radio friendly beats and making songs that are more widely accepted by the masses. Trying to get fags like jay-z and and other industry whores on his shit.... I know the dude can make shit other than gay club sounding songs and songs about fucking. Especially on something called Sickology. I blame fagboy Travis for most of it though. Tech would be better off without that queer.

At least you agree that he could be picking better beats cause the shit he has been using lately has been weak and the ones with an actual sick sound get ruined. Matic is on point but fuck some Seven. Tech needs new producers. Tech over some King Sandman or Stir Crazy shit would be all kinds of dope. Hooking back up with some of the people he use to fuck with would be dope too.

Fuck these people in the other Sickology threads talking about how he should have picked another pic for the cover because the average person would see it and not like it. Who gives a fuck? Fuck them people.

Just because theyre in the mainstream doesnt mean they dont have talent (thats getting harder to say) Jay Z has talent, and if Tech wants to work with him then thats cool with me.. it would probably be a dope track

fucking stir crazy?

Seven > stir crazy

I agree with some of your arguments but most of them are flimsy and you sound like a disgruntled teenager.. lots of "fuck this" and "this person is a fag" without anything behind it..

I just anticipate new albums and bang the music.. If he aint on the radio, then he aint on the radio, fuck it.. He still makin money.. I show everyone I know Tech N9ne not for promotion but outta pure love for the music itself.. Plus, who cares if you dont like the album cover or the name of the album.. The new album could be called "Shit on a stick" and Ill still buy it as long as the music is good..
thank you! agreed 100%

i completely disagree with you on this! i mean ive been listening to Tech since '02 and yes alot has changed through the years, but where did Tech go before TO? i mean no hating intended, but not really that far. he was signed to many labels that could not market him. Tech did make it outta KC B4 travis but look where hes at now. Theres no way in my eyes that he would be where he is today without TO. i dont really agree with all the business things that they do, but thats there business. try and start out your own business and see how hard that shit is to run. im not going to sit here and bitch about grave plott, or prozak or that SS left, thats all there business and not mine. im happy for the success of Strange music and Tech, and i love that he has complete creative control of everything that they do. again, im not always completely happy about features, beats, and other things but overall this is whats best for Tech and i will continue to support stange to the fullest.

oh, and i miss the dark shit too,(anghellic) but im just glad that Tech is happy and livin life and not all down and depressed. if that means i have to keep listening to the "sex songs" then thats perfectly fine with me!

You have made your retort void by saying Jay-Z has talent. Faggot.

Travis/Strange makes bad decision after bad decision. The shitty promo and letting Ill Bill slip away proves it. Travis is full of shit saying that all acts get the same promo.

I am part of 3 different startups now and will be starting up my own business within the next year and I know how hard it is.

I don't bitch about Prozak or GP. Prozak sucks but he is good people and reps the underground and doesn't care what people think about him and he gets my respect for that. GP is wack but it's whatever with them. It's cool Tech put them on though....even if it is just to make money off the horrorcore crowd.

So yer a sheep? When my favorite artists make shit I don't like....I don't fuckin listen to it. I got no problem with him being happy or making upbeat music either, but does 2/3 of the shit really need to be songs about fuckin and club shit?

Good verbal demeanor switch up from before.

I'm successful enough that I don't have to work a day job. I don't have to work at all. I can sit around doing drugs all day and I don't have to worry about shit. What do you do for a living. Work at Wendy's?

Anyone know how many copies of Hour of Reprisal sold? Curious how much Strange really lost (if anything) by dropping the distribution of that album. Isn't Kain the one that always posts everyones album sales?

If they would have got Bill then LCN would have most likely came out on Strange too. Strange dropped the ball and LCN ended up signing with Subnoize. I hate comparing them to Wu but they are like the new wave Wu-Tang Clan and you are retarded if you think LCN isn't gonna make money.

Yeah they will make money, not that much but they'll make something. I just don't think that it would make or break Strange by signing them cats. We'll see how many copies they will sell, Ill Bill might break 10k one day.
