without question he proved me wrong and u'll be lying if u said he didnt prove u wrong cause no1 seen this kid coming in the playoffs. i will say it was him who got them to the SB without question and he did have a game winning drive to win the whole damn thing. but that dont make him elite. if u were to ask me i feel he will become an elite player but he isnt there yet and we'll see where he is at the end of this season and we'll see. i mean this was the 1st time in his career he played good and it was only for 1 month. he has alot more shit to do to become elite like be dominant again in the playoffs and it would help if he was like that in the reg season as well.

no it doesnt, specially when it wasnt eli beating them it was the D. and ur lying if u thought Eli was elite coming into this game cause he wasnt and IMO he still isnt. all i'm sayin is he did very well and proved he's a good QB but he has a couple more years to even say he's Elite and lets see how it pans out then but right now he's a good QB that led his team to a SB

i can agree with you somewhat on that one i never said he was elite coming into the game but any team could have lost without defense but he won the SB despite all of his failures in the season 18-0 no QB has done that yet in my eyes that one game alone makes him elite reguardless how many INT's he threw or inconsistent he was bottom line other QB's had better stats were more consistent and watched the big game from home..

i could understand if it was a trent dilfer season with ravens or some shit where the defense completely held down the whole season but it wasnt eli puts points on the board no 7-10 games all season he put numbers on the board and lets not talk about INT's brett farve holds that record he is one damn elite QB but he has a SB ring too therefore making him better than marino any day in my eyes...\

but again this is just my opinion!!!

favre is elite and is way better than marino. i think ur getting me mixed up i never said marino was the best i said he's arguably the best but that aint my opinion. and the reason favre is elite is because he's been great for years. Eli been great for 1 month. and i consider elite being anyone capable of being in the HOF and if eli's career was to end right now he wouldnt be in it or on the ballad for that matter. i see what ur saying and i agree with everything except for the fact he's elite because he is in no way elite. he's young and has time to become an elite player like LT (who hasnt won a SB) and peyton and brady but as of right now he's a good quater back with a bright future but it is way to early to be calling him elite.
