how do you know they are not hunting and gathering, do you have proof? Do you live there?

If there was a natural disaster or a major collapse of civilization you have to be stocked up on tools to survive, and a gun is a tool.....the grocery stores will be cleaned out fast after a natural disaster.If you ain't prepared and don't have the right tools than you don't survive.

I am not really a conspiracy theorist, but in my older age I do see a time coming when the government will try to control us more & more. The Patriot act was put in place & I feel like at any given moment 'they' can spy on us, monitor us, so on & so forth.

I see some of your points in regards to guns killing people, hunters & such... But, do you really think that Constitutional rights should be taken away whenever the man in charge sees fit?

that's what the're planning to do most likely,strip em all one by one til we have no rights.

And its a coincidence that they're signing the Gun Ban Treaty on the same day as the Olympics so that most people wont be aware just like when the NDAA was signed.

Of course not. However, as ThaG has pointed out, some Americans are absolutely OBSESSED with the Constitution. I understand what it represents and what it stands for, but im also a realist. The US has been in a downward spiral since the turn of the 20th century, which are pushed along by technological advances and ideologies that fit the darkest corners of the human mind/nature. The federal reserve was the end of this country, period. That should have NEVER have happened. But it did, and here we are.

Apparently this rumor has been around since 2009. It's not true.

That was posted on page 2. And why would it have been a "coincidence? that it happened during the Olympics? For one, its in England, which means many events wont even be seen by Americans becuase of the 8 hour time difference.

i see. i have been some what interested in conspiracy theories, but i just find it weird that this gun topic is being brought up as the next election gets closer. it could just be fear mongering from anti-obama people. dont get me wrong though, i am not really "pro-obama". i dont think of him as much better than bush. but this is just my opinion.

No one will ever be 100% happy with how the country they live in is being run. Hell, many people dont agree with the way their COUNTIES are run. That old saying "you can please some of the people all the time" has never been truer than in politics.

Countries like London and Sweden have some interesting progressive views on life and politics. I know most people feel that "socialism' is a bad word, but in its TRUE form, its the type of system i would be interested in being a part of, at least to try it out. Of course, this could never happen in a place like the US...and it may not even work in those other places either.
