i think ya'll shouldnt even go off on what other people think, ITS SIMPLE, IF U WANNA HEAR THA ALBUM BORROW IT, OR COP IT, DO SOMFIN, DONT JUST BE LIKE OH I DUNNO IF IMMA BUY IT NOW, CUZ SO N SO SAID IT AINT THAT DOPE, U HEAR ONE PERSON SAY IT AINT DOPE, BIG FUCKIN DEAL, LIKE 200 OTHA MOTHA FUCKAZ SAID ITS DOPE, GO ON WUT THEY SAY IF ANYTHING, DAMN... tha album is on hit, get it if u dont got it...
the thing is, there are a lot of nutriders, especially on this site. 200 nut riders vs. one person that's being real with it.... ill go against the odds. im not saying everyone who likes the album is nutriding, but that's how it is most of the time. woodie can put out a half-assed album and people would still be like "damn that shit is hard." and you know it. the thing that's killing it for me is multiple people have said NE5 sounds more mainstream. that kills any desire i may have had of copping any album.
i hear you fatal. People were trippin on me cause i wasn't diggin the lou e lou album at all. there were a couple tracks, but i couldn't get into that album. I listened to it a few times all the way through, and even could have got a homeboy to burn me a copy, but i didn't even do that. In all honesty, this album doesn't compare to NE1 in my opinion, but it's still pretty good. I may grow to like it or dislike it more in the future......but that's just music
yeah i feel you Chris. i wasnt feeling that Lou E Lou album at all either. when i said that, people were jumping on my case like i was talking about THEIR albums or sumthing. that's what i meant when i said a lot of people nut ride. it's so obvious, yet those people deny it to the fullest. oh well....
if one doesn't want to believe i listened to it in its entirety then so be it. one thing, the album does not sound mainstream to me at all. it's still underground and somewhat gangsta but the beats aren't hitting it for me and the excess use of medocre rappers not with east co co but i am not saying all those on east co co are tight and those outside acts on the album were wack. east co co has its fair share of not so great rappers. i suggest just going on northern-ridaz.com to try it out first if you are hesitant to buy it. you may like it or may not...i was just saying i was not satisfied because i really enjoyed many of the past albums put out by east co co but feel it has been slipping as of late. y'all make it seem like i hate woodie or something which is far from the truth.
i just want to hear everybodys opinion..and when i hear an opinion(especially about the quality of an ablum i plan to cop) i want it to be specific at least somewhat...i mean like stated before..theres too many nutt riders who wanna put a dub on anything related to there icon(_ _ _ _ insert rapper name here)
IMO Lou-E-Lou on any track or on any CD is terrible. my boy Ordered a couple shirts off those lil order thingys and they said they was out and dey sent a couple CD instead and he got the lou-e-lou album. its completeley sealed collecting dust sumwhere in his room. he heard it on northern ridaz and said fuck it i aint even gonna open it. also IMO this goes for all the northern expozures. if in all the northern expozures Scrap is said 20 times i would be surprised. i think the song scrap killa probably says scrap more times then all the northern expozures. im not saying all songs gotta be about killin scraps and screamin XIV but if your gonna call the album northern expozure and give it a red cover wit hella homeboys flamed up on the cover at least try to represent. Northern expozure 1 & 2 were koo 4 was sicc. 5 is very disapointing. i only like tracks 1,2,5,9,12,19,20,21. the rest is complete garbage. XO was terrible on this album. his flows were hella better on NE4. and hopefully his flows on NE5 isnt what hes gonna be spittin on his solo. Carillo didnt flow in spanish, and didnt sound tight at all.woodies track #8 was koo but the corus was 2 long and i didnt really like it. sounds kinda like church or sumtin how he says everything like really long and slow. i like megan at all. lil dee is pretty sicc. and im very sorry to say but norte sidin 2 is terrible. it sounds terrible. how are u supposed to ride to that shit? i would never in my life bump dis song in a ride.a prayer for my enemy sounded like sum andre nickatina situation critical crack head shit. still tickin is ok. but big tone could have been a bit better. on #7 and #17. #18n sayin nuttins got a tight chorus but not good flows by that guy john gotti or wutever. and that name just goes to show u how mai stream deyre takin dis shit. the beat on neva to late is all wierd but its OK.#19 way bacc is koo. cocaine binge is koo.#21 getttin paid by mousies koo. and dat last song is freaky. da flows are tight but da chorus sounds liek a dying cat. XIV till eternity made you wanna get up and shoot a fuckin scrap after u heard does songs. and i understand if dats not ECCR's purpose but thats what i expected from dis NE. I have respect for east co co and all its artists and i aint sayin i can anybetter but i just gotta give my opinion about dis album. i really thought it was a mistake. but besides that east coco has made sum tight shit.
