well i'm just giving my opinion on it...wait until northern-ridaz.com comes back and maybe you can hear for yourself. i just feel that it somewhat has gone downhill since NE1. x.o. and shadow, aside from woodie were the highlights off the new one buuuuuut...woodie, i love the old beats from your early albums but these new ones seem to be subpar to what you used to make...hope you do not take this as hating.

I AIN'T TRIPPIN OFF THE $14 BUT THE ALBUM AIN'T ULTRA HARD.

THAT TRACK "STILL TICKIN'" IS KNOCKIN, I HELLA LIKE THE BEAT AND FLOWS ON THAT SONG

"ON THE BLOCK", "DIP DIP DIVE", "OPEN WOUNDZ" ARE ALL BANGIN', BUT I KINDA AGREE ON THE PART THAT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN LESS VARIATION OF ARTISTS.

I THINK WOODIE SHOULD HAVE SAVED THE TALENT FOR A SOLO, HE IS THE ONLY ONE ON THERE WITH SUPREME PRODUCTION AND LYRICAL SKILLS AND NEEDS TO BE THE MAIN FOCUS. OH WELL, CAN'T BLAME HIM FOR GIVIN' BACK TO HIS HOMIES BY LETTIN' THEM ON THE COMPILATION.

i havent bought this album yet and im not sure if i will. if i dont, it will be the first of the N.E. series that i wont have. ive heard things like weak production, sorry rappers, no stand outs, and most discouraging of all i heard it's got a more mainstream sound. that blows it's appeal to me. i'll wait until i hear it before i decide to buy it or leave it, but it's not looking good at the moment.

haha^

This definitely wasn't the best NE but it wasn't horrible...

The tacks I bump are....

Open Wounds
Caine & Cuffs
On The Block
That Good Life
Act Accordingly
Don't You Know That
Nobody's'
Still Tickin (FF threw X.O.'s flow)
Way Bacc (only Rees' flow)
Cocaine Binge

But the BEST tracks were Open Wounds, Nobody's, On The Block and Act Accordingly IMO

i dont understand why everyone says "hey woodie what happen to the old style" as an artist and producer you change over time and come up with new shit....IMO his production has grown and it's still knockin'....every artist has a say on what they want their song to sound like....didn't wood say that the lil los album would be more like the old style because that was what los was feeling?
and the point of the northern expozure is to get more talent known so i dont know why people are like wasup with the artist on the album.

HERE ARE THE SONGS THAT KNOCK OFF N.E.5 IMO
1.OPEN WOUNDZ-WOODIE,LIL LOS
2.A PRAYER 4 MY ENEMY-YOUNG A.Z. & HIGHYELLABLACK
3.CAINE & CUFF-X.O. CREEP
4.DIP DIP DIVE-SHADOW
5.DYING SPECIES-LOU-E-LOU
6.COCAINE BINGE-AMMUNITION
7.DONT YOU KNOW THAT-LIL LOS
8.THAT GOOD LIFE-BIG TONE
9.NOBODY'S-LIL DEE & WOODIE
