I was trying to be subtle with my sarcasm.

The only thing that's true that I typed in that post is that my homie really said that, and he's stupid for that, because if he can't speak english and doesn't watch or read the news, how does he know Obama is "change?"

People get caught up in appearance, hype and campaign slogans.
I also agree with you that both parties contributed to this mess. The both passed war resolutions, they both passed the bank bailout, they both supported lessening the restrictions when it came to buying houses...the list goes on.

Now the Republicans are sticking together not voting for the stimulus packages and other bills of that sort. Its a funny seeing this happen when more than half of those republicans voted for these bills last year, straight hypocrites.

Oh well, whatever makes the Democrats look bad.

Isn't it because the Republicans don't want any of that stimulus money going to unemployment and other social services? I haven't read anything on this current stimulus package so I don't know.

I wish the Republicans would have stuck together when it came to the bank bailout, or the Democrats sticking together against the Iraq War Resolution.
