whoever mentioned something about free roam, theres some upsides and downsides to that. like if all my posts were able to be googled, i wouldnt post how i do. i wouldnt want everything i say to be able to be found, its exclusive to this message board.
on the other end of that stick though, the ability to possibly google shit from siccness on certain topics or what not..could definitely add to random peopel signign up to siccness. maybe a certain part of the message board should be open for free roam...some of it not. and i think thats how it is anyway.
i was thinking maybe new emoticons? or maybe like shortcuts for certain pictures to make for easy clowning? (EG baby crying ":cry") & emoticons that arent necessarily just 'cool new emoticons' but ones that fit the siccness. like a pass it to horse emoticon, tits or get the fuck out, certain pop references or certain youtube references used alot here, i could look into how to make emoticons and maybe we could figure that out.
also maybe we can update the profiles. make them more interesting or creative or up to date so people will want to make profiles and customize them out.
i think the community should get together and think of like, 2-3 new forums for all of us. you know, just to change things around and make it a little more interesting. maybe we can solve the female problem if we put our heads to it.
i think sometimes, users on siccness should do interviews. some of the people here are funny, mighjt be a big fan and have alot more ideas for questions, but all in all it would just make for some good reading. also, maybe siccness users could have a section that appears on the front of the page, you know just something tight and interesting to read that might bring people from the message board, to the front of siccness. i just wanna find a more clear link between the front of the site and the back and let people know, hey the front page of siccness isnt where this site ends.
i guess making the site a little more 'user friendly' in certain ways could help. i think this is a good thread, because the people who are here to see this thread are more than likely here to stay. so theyre the ones who should have a opinion on the matter.
ill think of more things, but all in all no matter what happens or whats changed we should all vote on it. if possible. because liek my idea of changing the look? i know alot of people would be against that. but some wouldnt. i like how allhiphop has a button where its like 'day' and 'night' and the color changes on the message board. i guess what im saying is maybe if the changed look was customizable or something, that would be great.
all in all we need some new traffic around here. new posters whether we run them off or not would be nice. but how do we go about that, is the question?
