The theme here is faith. Will people do as they are told when it clearly has a benefit or will they wallow and walk around like chickens with their heads cut off. As I said before, if it happens 4 minutes from now or four months from now the greater emphasis should be if you have an emergency kit availiable in case an emergency happens.

You mean the belief in something without logic or reason?
With all do respect HERESY, it's hard to be told anything on a message board by someone you've never met (speaking for the majority of course). I'm not saying you're not a stand up guy or anything like that, but let’s look at this sensibly: a person on a gangsta rap message boards warns users to immediately get a med kit if they live in a certain region. These seems to imply that something is about to go down. Seems a bit suspect doesn't it?
Why say they wallow and walk like headless chickens simply because they do not take someone on a message board seriously?
There isn’t much logic in doing what your told unless you know why your doing it.
If I told everyone to throw away one left sneaker out their bedroom window and to please not ask questions just do it, people would likely think I have a few screws loose.
What kind of emergency kit are we talking about here? Yes, they can come in handy in the event of being stung by a bee, scraping ones knee on the pavement or burning your finger while smoking a bowl. Now, say in the event of, oh I don't know I’m just throwing stuff out there- a terrorist attack like the twin towers, chemical warfare or a nuclear bomb, there’s not much band aids and ointment will do.

I was actually going to come on here and tell everyone I bumped into you at Costco and you had a dozen cases of water and a bunch of first-aid kits, but it's a little too late for that. I needed a couple of good laughs, and you came through.

I don't know what to believe anymore...and I'm actually tired of hearing about it. If the shit is going to go down then so be it. If we die without having one chance to survive ,regardless of what measures we've taken, then thats life my friend and be greatful for the time you did have. It seems like every other day since 9-11 it's been one fuckin depressing ass threat after another. Nothng but fear being pounded into our minds day after day and I'm sick of stressing over it. If it's nuclear then basically all I have to say is "Hello and Goodnight"...there won't be much after that...if it's biological..then damn...those dirty muthafuckaz!!! Cuss that shit is going to be painful ,most likely, and if it's anything other then the 2 above...well man the fuck up and take care of your family and try to keep a good head on your shoulders because thats all you can do.

Now, from my reading of Heresy's posts in the past, I consider him of above average intelligence, (above the Siccness' average intelligence), and his posts are well written and articulate. I, however, am part of the minority that does NOT have a belief based on Christianity. However, I respect all religions and believe that knowledge in any form is NEVER bad. So basically, out of the many posters that have no credibitlity with me, Heresy is definitely NOT one of them. So in that respect, I read this thread with a bit of alarm. I do need details though, if you have them bro.
People have made many claims about the future. Heresy's claim is made today, for example. Then SOMETIME in the future, some random bad thing happens, and then Heresy can say, "See, I told you so". However, with specifics, that situation is less likely to occur. I dont' know where I'm going with this, I just would appreciate more specifics, if possible.
